The grams of carbohydrates and the amount of sugars is also higher than I'd prefer in a meal replacement. Overall, merely average and doesn't stand out.

Why change the High Protein formula (Chocolate)? Boost was my favorite and I regularly drank 2/day as meal replacements. Recently, I purchased a 24-pack and thought maybe it was a manufacturing mistake. So I decided to order another 24-pack and it's the same white caps and the same chemical taste. I'm so disappointed I wasted the money. I'm going to have to find an alternative, if this is the new formula.

They are not chalky like some other protein drinks I have had. I will be purchasing these more often. I love it. Really cold from the refrigerator.
