If the light does not come on, verify that the trap is plugged into a ground fault outlet and press the reset button. If it still does not work, the trap may be defective—apologize and offer a refund or replacement. If the light is on but the trap is not catching insects, try moving it to a more accessible location for flying insects, avoiding hidden areas like behind furniture or curtains. Ideal spots include near exterior doors, garages, or mudrooms. At night, keep the trap away from other lights to avoid distracting bugs, and during the day, place it in shaded or darker areas to improve effectiveness. Note that Zevo Traps primarily attract light-loving flying insects such as fruit flies and gnats and will not catch insects that are not drawn to light, like beetles or wasps.
