The texture of this was very thin, not honey-like at all. And the heat was so strong that there was no honey flavor whatsoever. I suppose it would be fine for folks who just want the heat.

It had a nice honey taste, with the heat coming in a bit after the initial honey flavor. Not too spicy, just enough to give it a pleasant kick. I had it on a grilled cheese with some Dijon mustard - sooo good. It was a little thinner than I was expecting, so be careful the first time you pour it out, but the consistency ended up making it easier to work with than thicker honey.

I tried it in several different ways, and I think my favorite was on a piece of cheese on a cracker. The balance of the sweet and heat in the honey combined nicely with cheese. I also incorporated some into a dip I made for a party and it was a hit! This Nate’s Hot Honey is very versatile.

You can do so much with it, that I used the entire bottle in just 3 days! The flavor is fantastic! Sweet flavor, with just a little heat, gives this honey the best flavor! (Instead of sugar and it's way better tasting) I did not even know there was a hot honey by Nate's until now. I was lucky enough to get a free bottle from PINCHme in exchange for an honest review. When I tell you that I'm obsessed... Understatement! Okay... I had chicken tenders the other night and used it as a dip... Incredible! Last night I drizzled it on my boring frozen pizza and it was sooooo good! I still use original Nate's in my tea, but the HOT is now an essential in my house to add some zip to food and cooking! Keep in mind... It's not unbearable hot. It's just that little pizazz of flavor and the sweetness takes the edge off. Try it!!!!!
