I bought this generator over two months ago and I can't use it because it runs for a few seconds and then dies. I spoke with someone in support, and they said it was likely a bad control panel and that they would send me a new one, but I haven't heard anything since then, which was over a month ago. This is ridiculous!

I'm so glad I bought this digital inverter generator as a home power back up. I usually use this generator for black outs camping and now it's very handy to power my solar generator on cloudy days or for other emergency. I highly recommend this generator it's not too loud for the amount of energy it gives.

After a lot of research on Dual Fuel Inverters, the Westinghouse iGen4500DF was a hands-down winner in terms of features and affordability. Because of its versatility, I feel like my family is now better equipped and prepared for the next power outage due to Texas's major weather storms.

As expected! I bought this generator due to the recent Texas winter storm (and potential hurricanes) after reviewing and researching multiple home power backup options. I received the generator on April 1st 2021 (within 5 days of ordering), ran with no load on propane for about 4 hours, changed the oil and is ready to use when needed, hopefully. Pleased so far...fingers crossed!

I wanted a dual fuel generator, and this one exceeded my expectations. I intend to run it primarily on propane, and after testing it for a few hours (on propane) I'm convinced it's up to the task for supplying the needed power for my travel trailer. It is also much quieter than I expected. 5 stars!

We bought this model based on customer video reviews and actual tests that customers put on this model. It lived up to those test on numerous trips thus far. The actual low dB was pretty impressive and the ability to run so many items on a 30 Amp has been great. We have experienced the same choke issue mentioned by a few customers and the corrective actions are fairly straight forward. Hopefully that won't discourage folks from one of these inverter models. The actual runtime was incredible for us. 3.5gal ran the 15k ac off and on all night, two CPAPS and an oscillating fan for over 8.7hrs…used only 45% of the gas…propane is expected to go longer. The display of info is great.

I bought this generator over a year ago and waited until now to do a review, based on real life use of this product. I found it to be very dependable and it started immediately every time with the push button start with no issues. we charged our phones, computer, a freezer, and our refrigerator for 2 days. Every 3 months or so I plugged in the battery charger overnight and it started right up the next day. I am confident that this generator will be ready to perform when we need it. I totally recommend it as a great insurance policy to meet your power needs.

This seems like a good inverter. Starts easily, runs quietly, good indicators, etc. There are a couple of manufacturing details that could use some attention. First, plastic openings (oil, battery) have sharp edges that will scratch up your hands when you're maneuvering in them. Second, instructions CLEARLY say to pour entire oil bottle in. Given how difficult it is to get to the oil plug/dipstick, I decided I'd go with those instructions. Definite overfill if you follow that guidance. Start with about 3/4 of the bottle. Third, the propane inlet is a brass fitting that requires a tight seal. The plastic housing cover was not squarely installed and part of it is over the edge of the inlet, making it a bit precarious to ensure the right seal.

As my first (maybe only?) generator, I wanted to plan for it to take care of every need I might have. When the school bus is remodeled, it will be my home. Being mobile, not knowing where I'll be, if noise restrictions would be an issue, or what fuel options I'll have, I wanted to be prepared for any contingency, able to send energy to as many appliances as necessary. So far I've run a handful of tools to include angle grinders and a 120V welder off of it, and have zero issues.

Purchased this generator for home and RV use. Starting was simple and problem free. Once running, I hooked it up to my fifth wheel and made myself popcorn, enjoyed the air conditioning and watched a movie. The generator didn't seem noisy at all, meeting all my needs and still having power for more.
