I want to install the unit in a secure 36x20x20 diamond plate box, bolted to a cargo carrier on my RV with room for two 40lb propane tanks and a flexible exhaust pipe and venturi chimney that parallels (and is supported by) the ladder up and beyond the roof line. The unit height is 20. Can I get an inch or two height decrease by removing the rear wheels, front bumpers and maybe the handle? Anyone have a photo of the bottom?

I recently bought this and it works great. I enjoy the remote start and that it powers everything in my rib with no issues. The only problem I found is that in the manual it states to pour the whole quart of oil in which is definitely not the case. I used about 3/4 of it before it was topped off and end up making a mess and it was a pain to clean up.

I finally was able to get it out of the box and fire it up. I have not loaded it up much but it works great for what i have done so far. Kind of hard starting on Gasoline in the cold weather, but starts great on Propane. I will start on propane to warm it up, then switch to gasoline. No problem.

I just got my iGen4500DF and was easy to unpackage and initial starting was very easy, add oil, connect battery, hook up propane and press button on key fobe! Started right up and was slightly louder than I expected but will be in my truck bed under canopy with ventilation. Seems well built as I expected:)

I purchased this generator for my new 5th wheel RV. Simple to set up easy to use. It immediately started with both the remote and the push button and pull start. Very quiet and works as advertised. When filling the oil which is provided, I would suggest to start with a 1/2 a bottle check the level and then continue to add a little at a time, If you pour the entire bottle in you will overflow the oil reservoir.

I received this generator two days ago, and upon taking it out of the box I inspected it and found it to be in very good condition. Following the instructions to the letter, I tried to start it on gasoline and it would not start. I hooked up a propane tank and it fired-up immediately. I kept trying to start it in the gas mode but it would not start. Finally, I ran it for a couple minutes on propane and then switched the fuel knob to gasoline and it continued to run on gasoline. subsequent tests with start and stop have been fine. I let it cool for approximately three hours and started it on gasoline mode. It started right away and seems to be fine. It is the quietest generator of this size that I have ever seen/heard. It is also very easy to use.

Only just purchased the gen but it’s pretty impressive so far. Wasn’t sure on the quality of oil provided with it so I decided to put in Amsoil 10W-30 to ensure it had high quality lubricant. Past reviews indicated problems with the automatic choke and the issue is usually that the control wire is unplugged from the control board. Took covers off to check that the auto choke wire was connected to the control board and it was so good to go there. Connected the battery and hit the start button. It fired right up in about 2 seconds as if it had just been running. Was pretty impressed. Tested the remote start and again it fired right up instantly. Very quiet for this amount of power so I am very happy. Now just hope it proves to be durable and reliable for years to come.

I bought this unit due to it having the duel fuel and other features of the three ways to start the unit. the only con I have is the oil fill tube requires it to be firmly screwed in when filling the unit with oil. The noise level is very quite for a inverter of this size.Very happy with my purchase

After subsequent neighborhood power outages we decided to take the plunge and invest in a backup system. Lo and behold, less than a day after we received our iGen the final winter storm of the season hit and we had a live road test. Worked awesome! Really happy with this purchase.

I bought this to use with my RV and it works great. Runs everything in the trailer at the same time including the microwave and the A/C. I typically run it off of propane using the quick connect port that is on the side of my RV. That way I don't need to haul fuel. It is very fuel efficient on fuel and my propane lasts forever. The first time I used it on propane I just let it run so I could empty the propane tank I was using. It had less than an inch of propane left in the bottom and the generator still ran for over 4 hours. The only draw back it that it is a bit heavy. I can still lift it in and out of the truck by myself, but wish it could magically be lighter. It is very nice that it has the wheels and pull handle. Once it's on the ground it is very easy to move around. Great product. More than double the power for the same price as the popular red generators.
