I was a little hesitant on buying this given some of the negative reviews about quality control and the choke issue. However I’m very glad I did purchase this. It arrived in perfect condition other than the battery harness was not properly holding the battery in place… battery likely came unstrapped during shipping. Battery was fine and just strapped it back into place. The set up is quick and easy. I upgraded to synthetic oil rather than using the oil it came with. It started up without issue and ran great. It is amazing how quiet this is compared to other generators I’ve used. And the power usage LED indicator and gas tank run time remaining feature is great to have. I particularly like how it has the future of been able to turn the gas off a.k.a. to propane to run the gas out of the carburetor. I did the break-in suggested for the first 5-hours to let the engine and more likely the generator coils get broken in… the manual says: “ For proper break-in, DO NOT exceed 50% of the rated running watts (2650 watts) during the first five hours of operation.” I didn’t think about it at the time, so varied the load up to 2650W… but then realized that it has a max of 3700W, so half of running watts would be 1850W, not 2650W… so the manual seems to have a typo one way or another, but too late now. Later ran it in a 20lb propane tank. Easy setup and runs great. Overall very happy with the generator, given I only have used it for about 6h so far.

Everything worked perfectly. Was well packaged with no damage. Started right away on both gas and propane. I am at sea level so no mods needed to run but plan to travel to above 7000ft elevation so I ordered the high altitude kit for both gas and propane. The part number for the gas kit was not correct in the manual.

I bought this last month. Thankfully haven't had to use it yet. Cranked easily first try and ran quietly. Too heavy for a 65 year old woman to pick up but old woman and old man husband were able to pick up and set on back of truck. has an extension handle and rolls easily.

This inverter generator has all the features I need. Electrict start is great for us older people. Being able to use propane is a big plus because I don't have to be concerned with gasoline and the problems of storing gas in the unit. I previously had am older generac generator and there is no comparison. Noise level is low. My old generator was extremely loud. I also like the info panel that shows voltage as well as other info. My old generator was putting out high voltage and I was unaware if it. I have test run my new unit but have not had to use it yet. All in all I believe this will be a great unit.

I needed a generator that would handle the AC/Heat unit, microwave, large fan, and all of the florescent lights in our race trailer. This iGen4500DF generator handled all those things and it fits nicely in the generator cabinet. A nice bonus is that it is very quiet.

This came in yesterday and though I have not had an opportunity to fire it up yet, it has great features for the price. The oil was a little difficult to put in and the oil drain is not easy access but still manageable. The weight is only 98lbs empty and fairly easy to move with the wheels and handle.

Just completed unboxing and start up. Reasonably quick process and loved the quick start guide. Love the ease of starting (remote start is a dream), dual fuel option, and especially the quiet operation! I anticipate years of service for our camp trailer.

Let me start by saying build quality of this unit is above reproach and the attention to detail is equally commendable. You can tell there was pride taken in the manufacture of this device. The unit came with all tools needed to set it up and they weren't just cheap one use tools either, they are nice chrome plated tools. There wasn't a nick or scratch anywhere on this unit inside or out. User manual is well written and it even came with a parts manual and a wiring diagram! Operating instructions are displayed on the top of the generator making it easy for anyone to operate. Another nice add is the carburetor has a drain hose built right to drain the carb after use which I have never seen on any units that I purchased in the past. All the controls, display and connections are laid out ergonomically and labeled plainly. The only thing I can think to add to this unit to make it even more awesome would be a ¾ inch wrench to snug to propane hose fitting and a bag to attach to the generator to store the tools and propane adapter. If you have any doubts just by it!!!

I bought this almost a month ago and I filled it with oil and gas and run it at an idle for break in for the next oil change one hour a day and it started right away no problem and I was in a little fear that it was going to be kinda noisy but to my surprise it's not much louder then my two eu2000i Honda generator's so I'm pleased with it so far.

After spending months of crippling indecision I decided this was the product I wanted for camping. Alas it was not meant to be, as they were sold out for nearly a year! I finally got my hands on this beauty and I'm quite happy so far! Much quieter than my other dual fuel generator, which means much better camping experience this year!
