I bought this 5 weeks ago, and have run it a few times. I'm impressed with how quit it is under load running my camper. A pile of nice operating features along with the remote start. I wish it had a little better design for changing the oil so that it could be a cleaner process.

I bought this inverter generator in July and have tested it with propane. It is pretty heavy but starter it without issue. I ran flawlessly and am in process of installing a connection to the house. I am confident this unit will work as expected when the need occurs.

The igen5000fdc is a great product with all the features I wanted. I was shopping for a lower powered generator initially but when I found this quiet generator already set up for lp or gasoline with true inverter power that would be all I needed for my RV I was sold. I had a Honda 2000 that I had converted to propane but it did not have enough power and I did not want to purchase another one to run in parallel for the money it cost to buy this unit. Plus, this unit comes with push button and remote start. Also, instead of adding external run time monitoring it came equipped with a full range of monitoring. It is heavy, but I purchased a ramp to load it into my pickup truck. I now can take it with my travel trailer and camp in National Forest or lower cost sites in the national parks. I will save the money I would have spent on campsites with full services and probably have a better experience being in the park.

I bought this about a month ago and have only tested it a few times, but so far it is great! Much easier to use than my old pull start. It checked off everything I wanted from a new generator. Dual Fuel, push button start, remote start, inverter, digital load gauge. Because I don't use a generator often, I can use the propane connection and not have to worry about gasoline clogging the carbs up and not being able to start it when I need it.

After last week's storm that knocked out power for several days in the Pacific Northwest I decided to upgrade to a new portable generator. This new 5000 dual fuel generator was easy to set up and is very quiet. I feel now I am ready for the next big storm.

After extensive review and comparisons we purchased our iGen 4500DF because it met pretty much all of our requirements. RV ready was the most important along with size ,weight , and long run time on 3.4 gal tank. The added bonuses were Dual Fuel Capability and Quite Sound level when running under load. It was shipped with Every item and feature as promised. We cant wait to get on the road. PS we live on the Texas coast it will also be used for emergency power outage for our home when needed. .

I live in a townhouse and didn't want to alienate my neighbors with the noise of a traditional generator at night. This is plenty to run our fridge, a fan, modem and coffee maker/ toaster oven when needed during the increasingly common power outages in HTX.

Just purchased this generator. Out of the box I am quite impressed. Fired right off on propane. The remote starter works extremely well, tried it 40 feet away and behind obstacles, EXCELLENT. Bought it to use while remote camping at the lake. I'm hoping the unit will allow us some creature comforts of home, including A/C on those unbearably hot days (nights). I am really happy with this product. This Westinghouse generator has all the features I searched for, 30 amp RV plug, maxim of 3000 watts continuous to run my 12500 BTU AC, dual fuel and a remote start. I can boondock comfortably now. Thanks for such a great product and the price is right.
