After lots of research, I decided the iGen series was for me. I was correct. The dual fuel, remote start functions are awesome! On the first start (on propane), I ran a vacuum cleaner off of it and the generator made less noise! Great product, so far. Judging by other Westinghouse products I have, I'm expecting many years of dependable, versatile, and quiet use.

Purchased this generator to use with our travel trailer and for emergency power. Adding the oil was a little tricky and easy to overfill, but not a big deal. Having dual fuel operation is going to be great and the remote start/stop feature is genius. Had a little trouble starting on a cold morning at elevation when switched to gas so I hope that is not a reoccurring theme. Swapped it to propane and it fired right up and then ran on gas with no problem. I'm marking as excellent for now and chalking the little nuances up to break in period and learning curve.

This Westinghouse inverter was very easy to set up. It is quiet and starts quickly. Have started it with the pull rope and push button. I like the ability to run of propane. Westinghouse includes the kit to connect to the propane bottles. It also shows the current load on the inverter.

I did a lot of research before buying this generator. For the money there is no other generator that delivers the power and has the features this one does. So far it fired up the first try and I have gone through the break-in period without any issues. I will use it a bunch this summer and will see the long-term testing results

I bought this a month ago.You arrived with no damage to the packaging. I initially had a problem finding the connection for the battery. The plug in for the battery was very tight which I think it's good. The oil fill is a little awkward. After I completed all the checks and push the remote start, it started up on L.P. gas right away..

This generator has been sold out for a long time, but it finally came back in stock. Still in the break in phase, but so far happy with everything. The only word of caution is to download the latest manual from the Westinghouse website. The included hardcopy manual instructs to pour in the entire contents of the included oil, but that was too much and it over flowed and made a mess. I should have known better, but these things happen.

We followed the quick start guide and started on propane. The unit was as quiet as I expected. There were 2 features I didn't expect, a charge port on the front panel and an efficiency button. When actuated this feature appears to lower engine RPM for anticipated lower loads. I think. This wasn't documented in the manual. There was no damage due to shipping. So far, I'm happy with this purchase.

I just bought this and have ran it for the break in time. Idle fluctuated at first using gas but leveled out. Propane ran very well. Not sure how accurate eco mode is. It says it is suppose to run a minimum rpm to save fuel but there was very little difference in sound.

I bought this generator for our camper, we decided to go with dual fuel because if we have the option available, we would rather use propane than put gas through. We read the manuals and filled it up with oil and it started within seconds of hitting the push start. We did run it strictly by itself for an hour and changed the oil in it, per previous posts and research, glad we did, just the break-in period creating a lot of shiny metals specs in the oil. After, we hooked it up to the camper and turned on a few small things since it should only be 50% load for the first 5 hours. We did end up changing oil again and still had a good bit of metal shiny specs in the oil, so I would just check your oil often and maybe change a bit more frequently. Great machine though!

I read all the instructions- to include putting the correct amount of oil in the generator. Put gas in and it started right up! I have tried pull start, button start and Bluetooth start- all worked good! However you cannot leave the ON switch on all night for a hands free start in the morning! Battery doesn't have enough charge to start the motor! SO..... Glad it has a pull start!! Also its not the quietest generator I have ever heard, but it gets the job done! I like the front panel that shows the different measurements... fuel, watts ETC.
