Small Package Large Power Output

I purchased this unit after looking at the reviews and doing a lot of research. The unit is quiet fairly small for the amount of power output. It weighs a bit but all portable generators do. I purchased it for my travel trailer and am satisfied with the product.

Great features and power

Recently bought this and so far, I am not disappointed. Did a lot of research on dual fuel generators and what sold me was the dual fuel, power output, remote start, and reasonable size. This generator will ultimately pull double duty as a RV power source and also partial home backup power. For those wanting to remote the exhaust, this is very easy to do with how the exhaust is set up. No fabrication necessary. 1" silicone high temp hose and a host clamp is all you really need. Just be sure to put a CO2 sensor by it. Safety first! Some reviews talked about having to do some work to their generator's choke to make it run. I didn't have to do that. Put the oil in it and connected the battery. Generator started on the 2nd crank of the remote button. My only knock on this was that the manual says that the oil resevoir is 0.6 quarts. The oil they give you in the box also has 0.6 quarts. I dumped all the oil in it thinking that it would not overflow. wrong! Don't do what I did. Check it after you have put about 3/4 of the bottle in the unit. Save yourself the mess.

Great first impression

So far so good, the instructions to prep the generator with oil was easy. The generator started right up with the remote. Look for forward to using the generator this summer when we dry camp. The generator is very quiet, reason why we chose it and also it was a great price for a generator with all the bells and whistles.

Purchased 3 Units--Good quality, quiet

Purchased 3 of these for a work project. Seems good (at least initially) and pretty quiet. Manual wasn't quite right (for example it had the USB and economy mode switch swapped on pix and diagrams). Also, positive and negative not labelled for parallel plugs. Good overall though.

So easy a cave man could run it!

This is my first inverter/generator. It powers everything in my travel trailer. It is quieter than my small champion generator which should allow us to use when it's quiet time in parks. The remote works like a charm. We just absolutely love the power and reliability, not to mention duel fuel. I would definitely recommend it!

Great value for the money!

I purchased this duel fuel generator for those emergency weather conditions so that I could either power up a few items in my home or plug my camper directly into it and move into my camper if I lost total power in my house. This generator gives me a choice. I also love the option of having the propane option so I don't have to store fuel.

Does the work

This is a great generator. Runs my 24 foot bumper pull trailer 30 amp 120 volt just fine. Love the digital readout for load conditions. Also love the load indicator to tell you the how hard the generator is working. Ran my generator on propane right out of the box. Added the correct amount of oil using the supplied screw in funnel and used the key fob to start. Started right up. The extendable handle for moving the generator around is a great bonus. The generator also has two very sturdy handles for easy lifting. I highly recommend this generator for anyone who needs 120 volt power.

Quiet and powerful

Generator is much quieter than expected. It has plenty of power to supply everything I want for my camper. It is a little heavier than expected but the extendable carry handle makes it easy to move around once it's on the ground. I really like the remote operation and the dual fuel capability, that is specifically why I purchased this one over other brands.

So far so good

Only complaint thus far was the oil filling cap is hard to get to, and it is difficult to determine when enough oil is added. I ended up over filling, and making a mess. Have not carried a load on the generator yet, but I ran it for almost an hour to break in. Very quiet, and everything appears to be working fine.

Looks solid. High altitude kit is a pain

I bought this generator a couple months ago. Upon receiving it, I learned I was supposed to install a high altitude carburetor kit (from instructions buried in the manual) or I would void the warranty. The high altitude kit was nearly impossible to find online. The part numbers didn't match the numbers in the manual but they did match the part numbers I found in a Westinghouse blog. I finally found it on some site that seemed affiliated with Westinghouse but I'm not even sure. I certainly wasn't sure I'd receive the parts I ordered. They did show eventually but the instructions on the blog are really only meant for a technician so I had to find a local repairman to come install them. I finally got them installed, two months after my initial purchase. If you live above 2,000 ft, be prepared for a long process to buy and install the kit The generator otherwise seems solid and well built. Starting it is easy and it's quiet
