Bought this inverter generator to power my large chest freezer and my refrigerator in case of a power outage. The generator arrived and works like a champ. Noise is manageable and you can have a little louder than normal conversation easily right next to it. Plugged the chest freezer and barely made a dent on the power load.

I like the generator well enough to order this one being the second one I own. The features are there, thesound level is good, the ease of use and portability. I do have a compaint, my first one won,t start, I have read all the reviews and tried all the quick fixes. I would have to say coustomer sevice, is almost nonexistant. The phone calls get cut off after being on hold for ever, when you finally get someone it is a operator, telling you to get on line, to submit you questions or orders. At this time my online contact has not been addressed. It is too bad that a good product has such bad followup. I hope to get some responce soon, living in a rual area is a problem, being you have to find and take it to one of there approved, repair shops, in order for it to have warranty parts replaced with no labor paid for, for my situation that requires 200 miles of travel to get it back home and lots of down time.

I bought the inverter for emergency situations. It was easy to setup. Very well built with extra sound dampening foam inside the case. I bought this model for the dual-fuel capability. The front panel controls and outlets have rubber covers. It's a heavy unit but the handle is handy. The feet are rubber and even the wheels are rubber covered, not just hard plastic. I feel confident it will serve us well. Recommend.

Bought earlier this year and was delivered right to my door. Easy set up instructions, add oil as directed, hook up battery, choose fuel and it fired right up. I did a break in period and was surprised how easy it was to change the oil. Westinghouse has a rubber grommet plug on the bottom, let it drain and topped back off, now I'm ready for boon docking and power outages. Did have to play with the idler screw a bit when running on propane, but even that was easy.

I bought this generator a few days ago. We live in South Florida. We survived the wrath of Ian but were without power for over a week. I originally resisted buying a generator. After a storm of that magnitude, I relented and chose this unit. Due to the reviews that this unit earned, its cost, compactness, and overall quiet operating volume, the choice was simplified.

Picked this generator because reviews said it was quiet and had adequate power. I also needed the dual fuel option and a remote. I was disappointed to find the remote does not work. I am contacting the company tomorrow. Hoping this issue will be resolved.

Liked what I read about this before buying. Even more impressed when I received it. Attractive. Quality construction. Well thought out. Included accessories and documentation is top notch. Pleasantly surprised to discover the sturdy extension handle which was not described n the sales write-up. Thanks Westinghouse!

We just received the IGEN Westinghouse generator and started it. It is much quieter than the one we had purchased at first. Also, this one will be good for technology equipment. The enclosed case is nice and the unit is more compact. We like the handle and wheels for moving it around. Have not actually used it yet.

Great little generator. A lot quieter than my 7500. works just the same. Duel fuel makes it very versatile. Only issue relates to the specification disclosed on the website - Height was shown as 20 inches but it is actually 20.5 inches, appears they didn't include the gas cap. It just barely fits in my truck bed under the topper. Would be better if it was 20 inches as advertised!

We were searching for a portable generator to power our RV when camping in remote areas without hookups. We wanted a dual-fuel model, and found that this generator had the features we wanted: 4500 watt performance to power our air conditioner, a remote start, and a built-in 30 amp RV outlet. We have operated it about 4 hours, using both gasoline and propane. It has started without a problem every time. The digital readout is very useful, and we like that a charger was included for the starter battery so that we can keep this machine ready to go. It was out of stock for months, but it was definitely worth the wait.
