I bought this today, I set it up , wish I knew there was a handle!!! Lol. Would have been a lot easier moving it and once I used the Handel it was so easy to move around. I can't believe how quiet it is . The Rv ready is a plus and the fob ! Amazing.

works great - both gas and propane, bought as an emergency generator but have been using with a compressor and battery charger for power tools as we build a large shed on the back half of my lot. I might even buy another (later) as a parallel power unit (or one for shed and one for house outage emergencies. The nits are all ergonomic and obviously would need some re-design to make it PERFECT. I'm old, have bad back and bad knees and very large hands – I'm a big guy but getting down on all fours just to add oil or even view the oil level is stupid – make fill tube longer by at least 6-8 inches, add a longer dip stick and for God's sake please need a proper oil drain cock. – no “dip unit over” that's a broken hand/arm waiting to happen. Add a way to drain the gas tank completely without having to run to “dry” – there is still gas left in tank (so yes a tank redesign) . The battery cover needs to be about an inch all around larger (the big hand's thing). Finally, a separate “quick access” panel to access the spark plug, carburetor bowl drain screw, and the choke (just in case)

4500DF came packaged very well,Instructions were very easy to fallow through and came with everything needed to set up and start. during the 5 hour break in period ran it 3 hours on propane side and 2hours on gas side no problems either side Great unit !

Arrived promptly and in mint condition, assembly was straightforward but there was too much oil which spilled on my driveway and that was frustrating since the instructions say to put the entire oil container in and there's way too much. Started on first try, works as promised. I did a good amount of research and so far, I am very pleased with this unit. I bought it as backup for some essentials - 2 fridges, phone and computer chargers but it can handle a HELLUVA lot more. I love the economy mode and the dual fuel was imperative given the shelf life & negligible maintenance of propane vs gasoline. The peace of mind of just having this unit which is very space efficient especially given its capacity and all the features is invaluable, especially in these uncertain times. Highly recommended.

Haven't used it yet. I received a recall long before the unit was delivered. Still discerning if I'm reading the serial number correctly? I would of gave it 5 stars if not for the recall, hope I can someday say. Long after the price has been paid and long forgotten, the quality still remains!

ran the item on propane and its flawless. Super quite machine and just a beast when it comes to power output. Love the digital readout and the electric start. Handles on the top make it easy for loading into the back of a pickup. Westinghouse really did a good job designing this unit

I bought this Inverter/Generator primarily to power a pellet stove in the case of a power outage. The pellet stove requires clean power in order to not enter auto shutoff mode, so I selected the iGen4500DF for this application. The generator started right up, is VERY quiet (in comparison to other generators I've heard), and the clean power runs my stove perfectly. So far this thing is great, and I can recommend it to those looking for such a unit.

Really excited about this as we had a recent bad storm where gas was in short supply nice to have a second alternative that is quieter anyway. Also useful for tailgating or if I ever get into RV more. The only downside would say is that I was expecting that it was a bit quieter like a Honda 2200 that I've used in the past. At least that's what the reviews and dB ready to adjusted. It still is quite quiet compared to an open non-inverter generator. I used it with the propane, that would likely be the quietest setting. I do like that has the conservation mode for lower draw and longer use with fuel.

Been looking for a portable generator for almost a year. Did lots of research on the various name brands. Was impressed with the many positive reviews on YouTube and online retailers. The fit and finish on the generator is exceptional ,with quality components throughout. It has all the features one could possibly want. The remote start is so very handy.

I bought this one to replace my small 2k camping generator. Main reason I purchased was the electric start and dual fuel. Opened the box, filled with oil, hooked a propane bottle up and it she started right up. At around a 100 lbs its still not to big to move around and the extendable pulling handle helps.
