Outstanding product

initial setup was a breeze, with all of the necessary parts supplied - even a funnel for the oil fill. Propane start was instantaneous, giving steady power right away. Gas power took about 10 seconds to stabilize and then steady power. Remote start, push button start, even the pull string start worked right away (well, after 4 pulls). Great product and super quiet.

Excellent, quiet inverter generator

Great experience thus far, from packaging, to instructions, ease of use, and performance. Performed the initial setup, switched it on, pressed the start button, and it was purring along in about 3 seconds. Tested unit with multiple appliances, and performed like a champ. Still working on break-in period, but a pleasure thus far. Looking forward to installing as power fail-over for our home.

Great dual fuel feature!

After searching several generator options out there, I kept coming back to iGen4500DF. The features on the control panel are top of the line and the ability switch to natural gas is a game changer, especially when gas is scarce if we are hit by a hurricane. It is even compact enough to take on our boat for camping trips. Very happy with the purchase.

Tons of Power in a Relatively Small Package!

I used it for the first time this past week at a dry campsite in NY State. It worked flawlessly except I left the battery power switch on and it drained the battery. I'm a little annoyed that the recommended solution to fixing that problem is to plug it in to 110v AC power. Kinda hard to do that when you don't have power. I got a good chuckle out of that. It would be nice if there was some kind of audible alarm that lets you know the switch is still on after the generator has been turned off to avoid this exact situation.

Great RV/Camping generator

If your on the fence about what generator to get for camping or your RV buy this one! It's super quiet and runs perfect! Running it is easy so anyone can do it. You know exactly how much fuel you have left, how much power your using and run time! Have the dual fuel is awesome piece of mind or if your worried about having a gas can around then you can use propane. This is awesome unit and I would definitely buy again.

Quiet

I just started and ran the generator for 30 minuted on propane and it performed well. I was surprised how quiet it is. It ran 12 feet from the kitchen and with the windows closed you cannot hear this thin. The 600 ml of oil supplied is too much, it overfills the compartment so do not pour it all in. Happy so far.

Very Quiet

Bought this as a backup to my gas hog non-inverter generator. Was very surprised with how quiet it is and how easy it is to setup. Added oil and gas, hooked up battery and it fired up almost immediately. Has started very quickly every time since. Hooked to house and verified it will run everything I need except 2 phase stuff for 15-20 hours, compared to old generator that used more gas and only ran 5-6 hours on 5 gallon tank. It's on the high weight side of what you might consider "portable" but I intend to take it camping as well. I wish the electronic display would come on with the switch instead of waiting until it is running. There is information such as amount of fuel that would be nice to read before starting. Other than that, great setup! Would recommend to friends.

Awesome!

This is our 1st generator and I couldn't be happier with my purchase so far. Super easy to setup (I'm using Propane) and starting the unit couldn't be any easier than pushing a button! Much quieter than I expected which is another plus. Plan on building it a small generator shed and hooking it up to a 6 circuit transfer panel in the garage in case the next ice storm causes us issues. Now I may never loose power again not that I finally have a generator but that's perfectly ok with me.

Good generator overall

I purchased this unit to provide emergency our home during unexpected long-term power outages. I've only tested it a little bit so far (only a few hours at about 40% load), thus I'm reluctant to give it 5 stars at this point, but it seems to work well. My only complaint at this point is that it is sometimes difficult to start via the pull handle, especially after its been running for a while. However, the electric and remote starts seems to operate well. It's not too noisy compared to open frame generators and seems to handle load changes effectively. Eco mode seems to work as advertised too. Overall, I'm happy with it so far. Hopefully it will work just as well when I really need it.

Quiet,remote start,runs on propane.

I can't say enough about this full featured generator. I was looking for a lightweight generator that runs on propane and has enough power to run both a/c units in my travel trailer. This unit will do that on propane which is absolutely my fuel of choice for stability and convenience. I will eventually put soft starts in to make the transition a little smoother. This unit has every feature you could want including the ability to pair for a full 50 amp output.I opened the box, hooked up the battery, added the oil, connected the tank and it fired up in 2 seconds. This unit is every bit as quiet as generators costing more than twice as much. At 98 lbs, this old man can still load it by myself. I could go on all day about this unit, but if your in the market for a dual fuel sine wave generator, I would definitely give this one some serious consideration.
