I bought this generator for 2 reasons, the 1st was to provide power to my camping trailer while not at a campsite. The 2nd reason was to provide power in the event of a storm / loss of power. I really enjoy the remote start capability, especially when it's cold outside. It runs surprisingly quiet (for a generator) and it provides all the power we need in a pinch. Having the ability to use both fuel and propane pretty much guarantees that I have one or the other laying around the garage when I need it.

I bought this generator 3 months ago and use it while camping. I have solely ran the system on propane. It has worked great for running the A/C. I did found that I had to watch which other electronics were running at the same time so I didn't trip the generator (I had to force my 2 way refrigerator use only propane otherwise the refrigerator and A/C could not run on the generator). The weight of the generator is pretty heavy to get it in the back of the truck by myself, but it is easy with a second person. The wheels and handle are a life saver.

I bought this two weeks ago after multiple power outages in my area. I'm so glad we did. Delivery was fast and it came with everything you need in the box with the exception of fuel. It started right up and is so wonderfully quiet for a generator. It is a must for a small back up and looking forward to using it for camping.

Great package featuring quiet operation, remote start, and the advantages of an inverter generator. Started right off the bat after adding oil and gasoline. With the 2021 hurricane season underway, I'm confident that I have a reliable source of emergency power should the need arise. The only caution I'd offer for new buyers is to take care filling the oil. The provided funnel was a great help, but the horizontal fill tube and possibly a little oil in the crankcase resulted in an overflow when the oil (also provided) was added. Luckily, I'd put a few pieces of paper towel under the end of the fill tube and this captured about a tablespoon of oil that leaked out when the funnel was removed and otherwise would hav ended up in the bottom of the generator's housing. Again, overall a great package!

Bought this to provide power to our RV when commercial power is not available. The features, electric start, remote start, inverter and dual fuel were all on our list. Combined with compact size, reasonable lightweight for a genset with this capacity and price make it an excellent choice.

Specifically looked for a generator with duel fuel capability. Since this unit is primarily used for "dry" camping with our trailer we already have a propane fuel source so I don't have to pack additional gasoline fuel containers. Propane also makes it easier to store the generator long term as I don't have to drain the gas or run it dry to keep from damaging the fuel system. Picked Westinghouse because of the features and positive reviews.

I bought my 1st iGen4500 in January 2021. The generator runs very quietly and provides enough power for our travel trailer. The only issue that I have is that I can't get the generator to run on propane even after I ensured that the system was purged of all gasoline and the selector switch was set appropriately. Today was the first time I attempted to run the generator on propane with no success. I went through the troubleshooting procedures several times with no success, but I switched back to gasoline and it runs fine. Today (2/19/2022) I have contacted Westinghouse to find out how this issue can be resolved along with the current recall that I just found out about. Hopefully Westinghouse's customer service is good and we can get everything taken care of. I would love to provide a update to my review after we get these issues resolved. I have faith that they will make things right. Don't get me wrong, I believe this is an excellent generator that runs very quietly even with the issues that I am currently experiencing. I liked it so much, I purchased a second one last week along with a parallel cable so I can use the generators together during a power outage. I would recommend this generator to anyone. I have started our second iGen4500DF for the first time today using propane and it runs great.

generator came with everything (except the fuel) needed to get it running. just used the provided funnel and oil, followed the instructions add fuel, hit the start button and it fired right up and ran great. only negative i have noticed so far is the pullout handle at the bottom rattles a little. once you stop that its extremely quiet.

I've had it about a week , got it broke in, I researched duel fuel generators for awhile before purchase, My biggest surprise is how quiet it is! Also all the features, remote start, gas gauge, easy to assemble just put oil in, connect battery, put gas in and turn it on it's that simple!

Bought last year while hooking up the battery I noticed loose wire. Removed side cover and found choke wire had came loose more than likely during shipping. In Feb of 22Lost power during ice storm, started right up on propane. Kept the blower running on our fireplace to heat the house. We had no frozen pipes. Would have given five stars but had the loose wire.
