Good size inverter generator

I bought this to replace a much larger and heavier non inverter generator for my home. I will be using this with a transfer switch and exterior inlet to power my essentials during an outage. No more extension cords for me! I especially like the dual fuel and runtime of this unit. It seems very well made and is compact.

Great DF Inverter

I bought this last week. Product showed up a week early! All items come in box including oil and tools! It takes all oil they send with Generator! After I figured that out the generator started on the first push all I did was add oil and connect electric start battery which is plug and play!!!

As Advertised

Bought this on 16 Sep 2021, delivered on 21 Sep. Added oil and started it right up on propane. Haven't run it on gas yet. Ran through the 5-hour break-in period while varying loads, etc. Will run everything at once on my camper! 14.5K AC, microwave, fridge-- everything organic to the camper! Quiet, and low-pitched noise so it isn't irritating. Very pleased do far. Only negative is I believe it is about 10 lbs heavier than advertised. It's a good 109 lbs out of the box with oil, no gas.

Has everything I wanted.

This is a very sophisticated machine! Its pretty quiet, and has remote start, dual fuel, parallel capability and a "suitcase-type" handle to wheel it around. It also makes a few more watts than most of the similar units I looked at. It is clearly a cut above the competition. Customer service answered a question I had via phone immediately. When you register the machine with Westinghouse, you need the serial number. It is found on a barcode "sticky" tag that has the number on it. But it doesn't say serial number.

Small, quiet and plenty of power, great features

I bought this for our cabin to replace a much bigger generator we have that is so noisy it drives me nuts! I needed this to run a water pump, some lights, occasionally the coffee maker and a small microwave as well as some power tools. My biggest concern was the water pump, and it handled it with no issues! Also bought it because it was dual fuel and we have propane run to the generator shed, so we wanted to continue to utilize that. Plus the remote start is the other thing we needed! Who wants to go out in the snow to start something first thing in the morning? This little unit was exactly what we needed!

awesome product

I jusst recieved my generator by UPS yesterday in perfect condition. After adding engine oil and connecting the battery I connected to my propane tank and started it up. I then plugged in my 28 ft travel trailer and engaged my 13.5K A.C., two refrigerators, microwave, two tv's lights and converters,it ran everything at 50% capacity. It's extremely quiet and the remote start is so convenient!

Great Simple & Powerful Contingency Unit

I borrowed a iGen4500 DF from my neighbor when we lost power. It powered all the critical essentials (TV/Internet, WiFi Routers and refrigerators, etc.) of 2 homes very easily - and efficiently using propane. I'm now a proud owner, and glad to have the assurance of coverage the next time we lose power!

IGEN4500DF

This item arrived in excellent condition. Set up instructions are easily followed and everything is as advertised. I tested it with a small air compressor first and it worked fine. I have plugged in our small RV trailer and everything works just fine. The built in wheel/handle combination for pulling it around is an excellent touch and necessary. I am very happy with this purchase

Runs Great, with Power, BUT BREAKS!!

I purchased this generator in February 2022, but did not get to test until late July. The generator started immediately with the electric starter and continued to start during initial testing. Worked on gasoline and on propane. I am pleased with the electric start as well as gasoline and properation operation. The only negative comment is that the generator is louder than my 20 year old inverter generator. ON THE SECOND (2nd) MANUAL START, SOMETHING BROKE ON THE MANUAL STARTER AND THE ROPE WOULD NOT RETRACE. THE GENERATOR IS DOWN WITH 3 FEET OF ROPE HANGING.

Nice generator

The generator was easy to set up and get running. It worked well for us when they had to shut our power off to upgrade our breaker box. It started right away and didn't have any issues. We ended up having to run it for about 10 hours, and it hummed along nicely. The noise level was nice, and was barely audible through our closed back door about 15 feet into our back yard. We plan to use this mainly for camping, but also for backup power for our fridge in the event of a power outage. It so far has worked nicely for us.
