After extensive research, the iGen4500DF checked off every item we had on our list to supply whole-house power in an emergency and for our 24' travel trailer RV. This is what we wanted: - Ample running and peak watts - Duel Fuel - Quiet (it is sooo quiet!) - Electric start (the remote control was a nice bonus feature!) - Easy setup - Under 21" to fit under my truck tonneau cover for road travel - Long runtime on either fuel selection - RV Ready (30A) - Wheeled for easy mobility (the stowable handle made the mobility even easier) - High reviews Every review we researched gave this unit excellent ratings. I concur. I don't know why you'd select a different generator - it exceeds our expectations and runs whisper quiet!

I bought 2 iGen4500DF so I could parallel them for my Rv and they work great. I wasn't sure about running them on propane but I'm very happy with the performance of the generator when ran on propane. It is super quiet and there is almost no exhaust odor when ran on propane. Paralelled together both generators handle the load of my RV even while running both 15,000BTU Air Conditioners. I couldn't be more pleased with both the quality and price.

Bought for boon docking and AAU track meets in our RV. We’re in love. It’s quiet, powerful and easy to manage. It lasts about 3 hours with a tank of gas running one AC. Perfect for the year round louisiana heat. We are so happy we bought this! Well worth the money!!! AMAZING GENERATOR OVER ALL!!! Buy it if you have doubts.

I got home took it out of the box and filled it up with oil and gas and two pulls fired right up ran a jigsaw to test to start with, the real test will be in a few weeks when we start using it on the race car trailer! So far so good though I'm very happy with it.

Shipping delayed, ordered generator 9/8/2021 & didn't receive it until 9/18/2021. Opened the box on 9/20/2021 and right out of the box, the regulator did not work. Registering the generator before we even cranked it so that we can get support for the regulator. It is a very impressive looking generator with really nice features. We just hope the generator runs once we get a new regulator.

If you are looking for a powerhouse generator that won't keep you up at night, this is the one. Super quiet, runs forever, fast starting, tons of features and a handheld remote control that starts this beauty from within your camper. A dual fuel system allows you to use gas or propane, just connect it to a portable propane tank or use your quick connect from your camper. LED readout screen monitors wattage used and warns you if your fuel levels are low. The Westinghouse brand backs up their products with a three year warranty, with most other brands having a year or less. Other similar generators with comparable features will cost you twice as much, so why shop around, just look at the Westinghouse brand generators for your next purchase, you won't be disappointed.

Fuel, Oil and connect the battery. Fired up on 2nd pull. Checked remote start and push button, both started it up immediately. Quick load test from my spare fridge and everything is looking and sounding great. No real run time to speak of just yet that's the only reason for 4 out 5 stars. Recommend keeping the oil container for future service.

I recently purchased mine and used it to power my RV. The electric start on it has saved my arms and shoulders the brutal beating most recoil starters give me. The remote makes it even better especially when it is raining and no one wants to go outside to turn it off. The only thing I would like to see in the future is that it be a little bit more compact in size and weight. It be easier to secure in a truck tool box and not be chained down in the back of the truck.

What a great investment !!! On our first trip boon-docking we realized what awesome investment we made. Was very easy to assemble everything, battery, oil level and to start what a breeze. Worked just like said it would, very quite and efficient just like said would be . Our travel trailer has AC, refrigerator, water pump and heater and everything worked flawlessly either on a farm , golf course, campground or anywhere you need power. Now the best feature of all, my wife woke up on the middle of the night , raining and everything was so dark, she need to use the restroom not knowing I had set up the REMOTE CONTROL TO START FROM INSIDE. That was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend and remember you’ll be much happier when your partner is a happy camper. PS: also installed an adapter to my cabin in the woods so I can use my new generator as back up power whenever winter comes around.

Slick unit with all the options I need. Well throughout and easy to use. The dual fuel source is definitely a plus when gas is not as available or stable for an extended period of time. The progress in 30 years difference between this and the old Coleman generator is incredible. I don't need ear plugs to run this thing.
