We were anticipating a pretty significant snow storm here in Northwest Kentucky. Y to he night before it's arrival I tried to start my 20 year old generator. Always worked well, but locked up this time! I bought this Westinghouse Dual Fuel 4500 unit as the storm began. In 20 minutes I was up and running! No pulling cords to start: the battery did it all! The sound level is so much better than my previous generator. This is a great find.

I bought this for my travel trailer and love the features of remote start, quiet operation, long run times, collapsible handle, large wheels, and the multi purpose display. Its size is perfect for my F150 and fits under my bed cover so people cant see it. It is a little on the heavy side for one person to lift in and out of the truck but can be done. Easily powers the trailers A/C unit with power to spare for other items. The dual fuel will come in handy if I run out of gas while camping. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that if you leave the battery switch on overnight with the generator off, it will drain the battery defeating the use of the remote start in the morning. So at the end of the day, you have to turn that switch off, which will not allow the unit to start until you turn the switch back on.

I bought this item 6 months ago. We got out camper two months after that and tested everything out. The electric and remote start are a joke. They wouldn't work reliably. We did get it going and ran for a little while to test it's ability to handle our A/C unit. A couple months later I took it out to camp and NOTHING. It won't start. We went through all of the manual testing every possible option as well as watching YouTube Videos and reading service bulletins from Westinghouse and cannot get the product running. I am very disappointed with this purchase.

Just received my IGen5000DFc. Looks solid and the startup was simple and worked great. Pretty quiet as well. Praying this inverter generator will last a very, very long time. My last generator (different manufacturer) was practically brand new, but stopped generating power with less than 100 hours on it.

Don't fall for it. Simply go on facebook, reddit, better business bureau. You will see all the negative reviews. They knowingly sell duds. Parts get jostled around during shipping and you can read reviews where they simply won't start. Mine ended up leaking oil, and their service center said there were no leaks and it would not be covered under warranty. This company is completely untrustworthy. Do not believe these other reviews - they are probably paid for or they are one of the few who didn't get a dud. Save your money and your time!

Just bought this. I am very pleased and it provides great power and very quiet. I think this is made very well and looks like great quality. I am using this for our 37 foot travel trailer as a boon docking power source. I am using it to run a 15K AC with no problem. I would of gave this a 5 star review but the electric choke is not working and I need to rectify the issue or return it to a Service center. I will try to reconnect the wires myself first. But customer service was very pleasant to deal with. I would reccommend this to a friend without hesitation.

first use 6 months after we bought it. very easy and quick to set up and get going. started right up and runs very quietly. we bought it to power our 31 foot camper, which it does very well. it even powered most of our house during the power outage after hurricane milton.

So far very happy with generator. Design of gen access doors, oil and fuel fill areas are very good. If you are a camping above 3000ft be sure to buy the High Altitude Kit as it will save you a lot of headaches, otherwise you will find out it will not operate very good.

The electric start with the automatic choke has been excellent. I'm an old man (84 years old) and being able to just press a button to start the generator has been wonderful. It works every time. The long pull out handle makes moving the generator very easy. It is a well made unit.

We boondock a lot during our travels, and need a dependable generator/inverter for power. Tried solar, just too much trouble, and the cost is ridiculous. I've owned 6 generators over twenty plus years and Westinghouse has been the best so far. Lite weight, easy to store using propane exclusively.
