We needed a good generator to run our camper for boondocking and a back-up generator for home use. The iGen5000DFc is perfect. The dual-fuel capability is awesome and so convenient. It's small enough that a one person can handle it, albeit a strong adult person. We love it!

I ordered two of these and received them amazingly fast (ordered on the 3rd, received on the 7th). They are very nice looking, compact, well thought out design. As I was removing the oil dipstick, I did consider that it’s a little fumbley for those with normal to large hands. I haven’t actually used them yet, but they insist I do the review now if I want a free cover. So far, so good!

I bought about a month ago online and was delivered to my door within 4 days. We are using this thing daily and night until we get power installed on property. It’s so quiet I don’t even hear anymore. It’s easy to use and although it’s not anywhere close to the size of other generators’ it’s still pretty big. My only negative is that it has a propane option but it burns it slot faster than gas. But it’s still good to have in case you run out of gas you know you have a backup.

I needed a generator to use with our RV trailer. I live on the Gulf Coast with frequent Hurricanes. Due to the hurricanes gasoline is sometimes hard to find so I knew I wanted something dual fueled. The Westinghouse 4500DF is dual fueled. I wanted a generator to power my Travel Trailer with the correct 30amp jack to power my camper. The 4500 has the proper jack for campers. Remote start for when I don't want to start or stop the generator early in the morning or in the middle of the night. I wanted a large fuel tank that would allow me to run over night. With the Westinghouse IGen4500DF I picked the generator that was right for me. I looked at other generators and they had some similar features, but not all of the ones the Westinghouse had. I considered many other brands but for the price the Westinghouse offered what I needed. And in addition 4500 starting amps I got more than I was looking for. I have used this generator for almost a year. It starts first time still. At 98lbs, I can load it on our truck. I have run my 4500 for over 15 hours on one tank of fuel, (I fueled it before it ran out of fuel). It came complete with everything you needed to use propane including the propane regulator. After using my generator for almost a year I am glad I picked the Westinghouse IGen 4500DF.

I bought this unit as a power backup, and to be able to carry it to other sites that need power. Unboxing and setup was a breeze. The unit is a little heavy, but manageable. After unboxing, and fowllowing the set up instructions the unit cranked up immediately. I've only run the unit with gas, have not tried propane yet. The electric and remote start are a definite bonus. I've only used the unit just for breaking in, but it powered two deep freezers and refrigerator without any issues.

I ordered it and it was shipped in 2 days turnaround, I'm very excited to have purchased this dual fuel because my 10K is gas powered in the event we need to relocate we can load this unit and some propane and oil, and we're set you can get any better. We looked at others but this one won hands down and the pullout handle was the icing to moving the unit around without it hitting your heels, the remote and service tools was a bonus I just put the supplied oil in connected the propane line opened and checked for leaks and started it up, manual, remote and push start switch unit started up with no problem. "Great job Westinghouse" a solid name I can remember coming up in the 60s, you haven't lost your touch in providing a product that performs well, have the right power and weight for it size and lastly performance and price of this unit

I needed a generator that would support our new travel trailer and found the iGen4500DF at a competitive price with positive reviews. The generator was well packed and arrived quickly without any damage or signs of shipping stress. The setup was very straight forward and happened without any issues. I connected it to a propane tank and it started up right away. I ran the generator for a few hours as part of the 5 hour break in period and was very pleased with the performance and low noise levels. I could easily have a conversation with someone while standing next to the generator while it was running. So far my experience has been perfect from purchase through setup.

came with a broken retaining tab in the bottom of the bag, not sure where it goes but it's not missing from the right side panel. started and ran fine, powered an air compressor and freezer. it is very quiet for what it is. I'm not outside of the break in yet, I'll update if I can after running it for a few more hours.

I’ve owned several different brands of generators . So far this has been the best one. I really like the display function read out. Starts every time unlike my last one that starts with an H and is on its second carburetor and is currently sitting in my shop not running. This generator is also on the quiet side.
