This is a great generator with awesome features. Although the generator I have zero complaints about, I was not happy with the buying experience up front. When I initially setup the generator I ran into two problems. First the generator was not idling correctly. It was due to what I found out is a common issue with these generators. From the factory there are times when the plug for the automated choke is not plugged in. I have to take the panels off the generator and connect the plug to resolve this issue. The second problem I ran into was with the remote start. I tried several times to connect the remote following the instructions in the owners manual but could not get it to work. After working with customer service they sent me out a replacement part for the module that controls the remote start, which resolved the issue. My 3 star review is to reflect the fact that I have to do several things to get the generator running as it was supposed to be from the factory.

I just received my generator and am very impressed so far. Generator was packed well with Styrofoam surrounding it and was in great condition right out of the box. I bought this generator to power my RV and wanted a quiet running dual fuel generator which this is. It has a remote start and all the features I was looking for. It is a great looking unit and I should get good use out of it.

Didn't expect a few extras: battery trickle charger, hidden extendible handle (must have missed it in the description), tool kit and screw-in funnel. Quiet operation! I haven't run it on propane yet (which will be primary). It took a dozen tries on gasoline; the pull start got is running. Electric starts now works well. It looks like the oil change will take a bit of effort compared to my old gen.

I ran it on propane so far and it has ran great. Remote start is awesome as well. I haven’t tried gas yet but I will soon. The only issue I see so far, and it might be my problem not understanding how it’s supposed to work, but the display just stays in P mode and doesn’t cycle through to show me the other statuses. If I can’t get it to work I’m sure tech-support will work with me so far I’m very happy with the unit.

I bought this generator as a power source for my 40' fifth wheel. We plan on traveling for a few months at least and have used this generator for places we camp with no shore power. It has plenty of power to run what I need including the one rooftop A/C. Easy to start!! whether pushing the button for Electric start or one (maybe 2) pulls on the cord (for when i let the battery die), it has started right up. It's been fantastic for getting things running so the family can get inside after a long day of driving, or just for the comforts of day to day power usage.

I bought this less than a month ago, and glad I did. It has all the features that I was looking for. I am primarily going to use it for backup power to the house. It has plenty of power, duel fuel, clean inverter power and as quiet as my 2000 generator. No delivery issues, everything was there and started right up. Also my neighbor was so impressed that he just bought one.

The iGen4500 DF is easy to set up, just plug in the battery connector and add the pre-messured oil. I hooked my iGen to propane and then used the remote start fob to start. It started the very first time. You can also use the electric start on the machine and it has a pull start as well. I shopped a long time for generators, and this generator came to the top of the list. Powerful enough for home emergency backup. Quiet inverter technology that can power sensitive electronics. Electric start. And will run on gas or propane!

I've used this for several weeks and so far it's powered my 32 ft travel trailer with a 30 amp circuit. It's running my 15k btu AC without any issues. I am able to run the TV, AC, fridge and lights without it missing a beat. The remote is a plus, I able to control the on/off from inside the trailer. This gen is very quiet, runs at mid 40 db from 15 feet from the trailer when testing levels from the inside of the trailer, with the TV on it's hardly noticeable.

Purchased this generator to use with our travel trailer and for emergency power. Adding the oil was a little tricky and easy to overfill, but not a big deal. Having dual fuel operation is going to be great and the remote start/stop feature is genius. Had a little trouble starting on a cold morning at elevation when switched to gas so I hope that is not a reoccurring theme. Swapped it to propane and it fired right up and then ran on gas with no problem. I'm marking as excellent for now and chalking the little nuances up to break in period and learning curve.

Ordered this unit and first one was beat up by shipper so I refused the package. The sent me another unit and was in much better condition. Took unit out of box and and noticed back cover was not lined up with the blue sides and saw that the back cover was missing two screws. I did the setup and started it on propane and it started on first try. The generator runs great on propane but not in the eco mode it wants to surge but with non-ethanol gasoline it runs great in both modes. Much quieter than I thought. For all of you looking at YouTube videos the digital meter looks like it’s flashing but when you are running it the meter looks normal. I will be 101% satisfied once my screws are replaced and the surge is taken care of in the propane eco mode. I will post some video but my phone makes it sound much louder than it really is.
