We bought our generator last year and we were very happy with it. It worked great with our 29 foot travel trailer. We have had no issues running everything we need to run in our trailer. Took our trailer out in the Arizona summer and ran our AC all day long with no issues. We only used a couple of times when a recall occurred. Hats off to Westinghouse for notifying us right away. They sent out a shipping label, we sent our generator back to them free of charge and within the same week we received our new one. Great customer service!

I ordered the iGen4500DF in early June and it finally arrived in late October. I added oil and hooked up the battery and ran the generator on propane. The generator ran fine and started with both the start button on the control panel and the remote. I removed the access panel to look at the air cleaner and noticed that one of the plastic tabs used to hold the panel in place had broken and was still in place in the rubber grommet which retains the tab when the panel is closed. I have added a couple photos of the broken tab. I am disappointed that this broke the very first time I removed the access panel, I hope the rest of the generator holds up much better than the panel did! Time will tell whether the generator turns out to be a good reliable piece of equipment.

It took 3 attempts (3rd time is the charm!) to get one that worked - but, once we did, it's a great product. Like many other reviews, the first 2 had serious throttle issues - would rev up and down constantly - assuming wiring issues - maybe these don't ship that stable and wires come loose? No clue. But we love the one we now have!

Received the generator, added oil, connected battery, read the start up instructions etc. I had already wired my home breaker panel with a separate 30 amp single pole breaker, UL interlock kit and 10/3 wiring to the an outside weatherproof box that houses my 30amp male plug head that I just pull out thru the box to a distance that is away from the house and plug into my generator at it's safe location to run. Turned of the main breaker off at the electrical panel and turned on my new 30 breaker and switched on the desired loads 1 at a time. Furnaces, refrigerators, small freezer, fireplace, assorted lights can all run at the same time as necessary. They just can't all start up at the same time. Worked flawlessly! Can't wait to try it boondocking with our RV.

I just got this and am very happy with the way it looks and the workmanship of the item. We will use this for our RV. It is powerful enough to run anything we have with power to spare. Though we have not used it yet I think it will be what I want/need.

Just bought this generator and I'm in the process of getting it broke in. It responds to varying loads well. I don't think it's as quiet as my Honda EU3000is that it is replacing, considering that it's a larger generator but it is still very quiet. Happy with this purchase!

I bought this product to have a reliable back up electrical source for my home. I followed the instructions to get it up and going. It started right up and now I know the the freezers are secure and the heat system will keep our house from freeze damage.

Got this and I was very excited about having a more powerful inverter. 1st this can't even handle my small trailer a/c unit without overloading. 2nd it sometimes won't even start, 3rd ot runs like crap for the first 2-3 minutes not even hooked up to anything. If I could return it I would...

Have only run the break in on unit but varied load up too 3000 watts for short time periods will run everything in rv is very quiet and can use propane or gas. Plan on using on rv and for power outage at home so far so good mine did not have the choke problem so they must have got that fixed had plenty of wire and good connectors.

Only received it today and after going through the manual, adding oil and hooking up the battery it started right up (I did pull the manual start rope slowly several times to circulate the oil and lubricate everything before starting). I plugged it into my Fifth wheel and ran the furnace for about an hour, then turned on the Air Conditioners. It started and ran both the front 13K and rear 15K air conditioners. Much quieter than my open frame generator was but you can still hear it. I only ran it about 2 hours but first impressions are that I like it a lot.
