Nice product don't put too close to windows/doors

We bought this a month ago to use with our toy hauler. It works great with limited noise level. Be careful not to place too close to any windows or doors during use! Our carbon monoxide detector went off during the first night of using the unit. We moved it further away from the trailer but haven't tried it since.

Terrific Inverter Generator

I purchased this generator on 6/7/22, but received it on 9/2/22. Even though delivery took 3 months, I am very pleased with the generator so far. I purchased it in planning for any/all future power outages. Now, I feel much more secure knowing that my family and I are prepared for those eventualities.

Started up wo/any issues...

Ordered, picked it up, read manual, added oil, hooked up battery, hooked up propane tank...open propane value, selected fuel, turned switch on, turned off eco, pushed starter button...started right up!! For first initial test, plugged in a dual control heat gun and when trigger pressed, the generator reacted accordingly, depending on high or low setting. Looking forward to connecting to our RV trailer next weekend.

Hopeful

I bought this generator as it seems the same as the Cummins model only blue in color and about $50 cheaper. It started right up using propane and it cycled as expected when I cycled the 15k RV A/C on and off. It ran at 50% load while A/C was running on RV. I only plan on using propane feature so I can't comment on using gas side of unit. I expect this unit to last quite a number of years if not decades.

Good, plastic housing arrived cracked.

Just opened up the box, and unfortunately the engine cover panel had a huge crack in it. I'll be submitting my claim for replacement/repair, so I'll update when I see how that goes. It appears to have been dropped in transit. Otherwise it's been great so far!

Easy-Peasy

I bought this generator/inverter for my rv when we go “no hookups” camping. The “quick start” guide was just a few simple steps that were super easy to follow. It started up immediately on first try. Runs smooth and very quiet. I couldn't be happier.

Dual Fuel - So Cool...

I bought this to use with my 17' trailer - primarily used for hunting in the winter months. The fact that it uses propane means that I just need one fuel source for both my generator and trailer furnace. The cherry on top is the remote start. Instead of cranking on my old generator for 15 minutes in sub zero temps just to get it to turn (that was me last year), I just push the start button from the comfort of my sleeping bag. So, in conclusion, it's pretty awesome.

Very nice generator

Did the initial break in period and so far works great. Wish the propane line was longer. Seems to take two to three push on the start button to make it start on propane, but it does start and runs well. Did some testing on db, and so far not getting the 52 db, but need to get better testing equipment to totally test this. A little on the heavy side, but manageable. Not sure why it comes with a remote start, because documentation says not to start the generator with load on, therefore, in most case you would have to go disconnect the load on the generator before starting it anyway.

Hot Rod Generator

This genny had all the features I wanted and then some. I think the igen4500DF had some drawbacks at first: people reported choke problems, gummed up carb, some other starting issues but I think Westinghouse got it sorted out because mine arrived and after following the instructions for setup it started second time on propane and ran great. All features are functional and the thing is soooo quiet.

Easy Peasy

As a 73-year old single woman, I need reliable power for the outages that frequently occur here in the Pacific NW. I had a smaller gas-fueled H brand with recoil rope pull only, that failed to start enough times, even after servicing, that I wanted to upgrade to something more reliable. This 4500 dual fuel inverter generator has push-button electric or even remote start, was intuitive to assemble, and uses 20-lb propane bottles that I can purchase full, and trade-in at my neighborhood grocery store. And it's so much quieter! Now I'm ready for Mother Nature's moods!
