I’ve always had the basic construction type of generator that work well but are super loud. I just Upgraded to this inverter style and what a difference! It is a solid well built unit. You can stand next to It and have a normal conversation. No more upsetting the neighbors.

I purchased this generator to provide an emergency backup power source for my home. I have got it all set up and have run it for a break in period and tested it, and it works exactly as advertised! I believe the high power output, CO safety shutoff, and dual fuel source option make it a safe and versatile generator. Parts are hard to source, as Westinghouse either does not have them in stock or does not have them listed on their website at all, but otherwise I'm very happy with this generator and have peace of mind knowing it will keep my family and me powered through an emergency!

Bought the generator to power my camper trailer - my 1800 watt generator wouldn't power the AC. I have not run gasoline through it because I haul this in my trailer and don't want the gasoline smell. I have been quite happy with it for the last 4 months, but if using only propane, there are a few considerations that should be made... First, the way the hoses connect to the generator makes them "stick out" so they have more chances of getting damaged. I'm going to plumb in a 90 degree fitting and add a quick connect to make it more convenient. Second, it doesn't like to start well (on propane) when the temperature drops below approx. 40 deg F. I think this is due to the pressure in the propane tank decreasing as the temperature decreases and a spring loaded safety valve that has to be overcome by the vacuum generated when the generator is cranking/running. This would not be a problem with gasoline. It makes it nearly impractical to start it using the pull rope because you can't get it to spin over enough times to generate enough vacuum to get the propane to "flow" properly. I rely on the pull start as a backup in case my battery dies. It would be nice to have a primer/bypass to help get it started. Hoping that I can use starting fluid to get it to fire a few times on a pull start to get it going. Also considered making custom "jumper cables" to bypass the internal battery in case it goes dead . Note that I expect the weaknesses of the propane option to be common among all dual fuel options but maybe some are less finicky. Overall I'm quite happy with the generator, just needs a few tweaks to make it more convenient for my application.

I can’t say enough about this full featured generator. I was looking for a lightweight generator that runs on propane and has enough power to run both a/c units in my travel trailer. This unit will do that on propane which is absolutely my fuel of choice for stability and convenience. I will eventually put soft starts in to make the transition a little smoother.This unit has every feature you could want including the ability to pair for a full 50 amp output.I opened the box, hooked up the battery,added the oil, connected the tank and it fired up in 2 seconds. This unit is every bit as quiet as generators costing more than twice as much. At 98 lbs, this old man can still load it by myself. I could go on all day about this unit,but if your in the market for a dual fuel sine wave generator, I would definitely give this one some serious consideration.

Great generator, fired right up, started breaking it in last night. Really surprised by how quiet it runs, this will be the perfect companion on our boondocking trips! Have not tried propane yet but am excited to have the option. Perfect for our RV

I read thru the manual and went thru the startup procedures. The instructions were clear and generator started right up on both propane and gasoline. I tested all of the outputs with a variety of loads and the generator performed as expected. I'm ready for the next power outage now!

just started up my new westinghouse inv/gen for the first time. first use was with propane. started on second pull and the first pull thereafter. also it is crazy quiet. great product, great buy! Ps. Use the provided threaded funnel to add oil. excellent addition to the provided toolkit!

Seems like a good generator! But ran like bad when I first got it! Found the choke was stuck on because the wire for the electronic choke was unplugged. Don’t know why this is saying I didn’t write a review. Maybe it’s not long enough that is why am just writing this now..

Just bought it and set up for gasoline and propane. Seems to run well with a 1875 Watt hair dryer and a 500 watt work light. The gauge displayed about 50% load. Bought for my 5th wheel next year with a 15000 BTU A/C unit. My previous two 2000 Yamaha gens in parallel couldn't always start the A/C in hot weather.

just purchased and put battery and oil in generator. i'm only going to use propane unless there is an extreme emergency. I hooked up propane tank and pressed the button and it started right up. ran it for a couple of hours varring the load with 1000wt /1500 heat gun . It ran great, pretty quiet ,no gasoline exhaust odors, economy mode slowed the engine down on lower power consumption. instructions says the serial number is on the model information label but it is not there. the serial number is only on the box if you haven't already thrown it away. so far so good. GOING FROM PRODUCT REGISTRATION TO REVIEW IS VERY CONFUSING
