I recently bought this generator. Although it's larger than I expected, setup was easy, and the remote start/stop along with its other features are great. It's also quiet and not as load as other generators this size. And the duel fuel option is a bonus since propane is cleaner and easier to deal with.

I've done a lot research on this generator, and I will say money well spent!!!! It's compact it's a lot quieter then would think for outputting 4500 watts. I put oil in hooked up the battery "like they tell you to do" With a very detailed start procedure. Fired right on propane. I couldn't. Be any happier with my purchase.

I bought this generator because I wanted the option to run propane if needed. Delivery was easy and there was no real assembly required beside hooking up the battery and adding oil. Started right up with the button, remote, and pull cable. Runs pretty quiet too. Excited to use it more on camping trips.

Writing this as asked to get a cover for the unit. I just started it up using Gas to do a quick check to make sure it was running before a storm hits and knocks out power. The unit shipped with oil and indeed didn't need the full bottle as there was some remaining from factory. The unit seems definitely quiet under no / light load so far in testing and I didn't run it long enough to check the eco mode as starting it normally showed about a 10.5hr run time off a close to full tank of gas. Looking forward to also checking the propane connection when needed.

Followed instructions for first start up & seems to work as it should. Operated off gas or propane. I've only briefly ran my air compressor & Dewalt 12" miter saw off it. Main use is to use wirh my RV but haven't been able to try it out yet. Also by giving this review Westinghouse says they will send me a cover for it. We shall see?

Used generator for a week while camping using propane only, not sure I will run fuel option, loved not having to deal with gas cans. Unit ran perfect, couple hours in the morning to warm up the trailer and a few hours in the evening. Great decision going with the Westinghouse

Did the initial break in period and so far works great. Wish the propane line was longer. Seems to take two to three push on the start button to make it start on propane, but it does start and runs well. Did some testing on db, and so far not getting the 52 db, but need to get better testing equipment to totally test this. A little on the heavy side, but manageable. Not sure why it comes with a remote start, because documentation says not to start the generator with load on, therefore, in most case you would have to go disconnect the load on the generator before starting it anyway.

Ordered, picked it up, read manual, added oil, hooked up battery, hooked up propane tank...open propane value, selected fuel, turned switch on, turned off eco, pushed starter button...started right up!! For first initial test, plugged in a dual control heat gun and when trigger pressed, the generator reacted accordingly, depending on high or low setting. Looking forward to connecting to our RV trailer next weekend.

I bought this in 2021 tried it out for about 2 hours, worked great. After 1 year sitting tried it out and started right up, no problem ran for 2 hours for RV AC and few more hours for other things, worked great. This year tried to start n hard to start ran ruff then settled. Ran RV AC a few hours, then turned off. following week tried to start n WONT START!!! Only 15 Hours on it. Not Happy!!!!

Just received the IGen4500DF after reading many positive reviews and following several power outages in two weeks. Set up was very straightforward and started right up on gasoline... haven't tried LP, but like the option. Time will tell how it performs when necessary as backup.
