Another awful, user unfriendly hp printer. Seriously don't waste your money. I don't know how this has anything but 1 stars. It's a disaster to set up, the instructions make no sense, it only has like 5 buttons and half of them seem to do nothing, it randomly refuses to print and then will print when you tell it not to, I have no idea how to use the roll through scanning feature, the glass on the other scanning feature is extremely delicate and broke within the first couple weeks, and the print is all faded and terrible after the first use even when the ink is full. I can't even express my frustration with this. DO NOT BUY

I bought this to print off a resume. I usually save to pdf but every so often you need to print something. I already swore I would never buy HP printers again( I've had terrible luck with other HP printers) but this was all Sam's had available & I need to take a resume with me to a job fair. I printed the resume ok I guess & didn't use the printer for maybe 4 months to print off a list but the ink seemed to be dried up or something. I forgot about & a couple of months later picked up new cartridges. I tried printing off a page & I needed to force feed the paper through to get it to go through & print. I tried another page & it would not go through. For some reason the rollers would not push the paper through. I have had nothing but problems with HP. The products they make are designed to fail. I have bought many of their products & this is the result nearly every time. Especially with printers.

I bought this a year ago and it has been the single worst electronic purchase I can remember. HP forces you to sign up for their cloud service, which monitors everything you do and provides you ink on a schedule that is overpriced. If you opt out or try to use off-brand cartridges, they brick your entire device and prevent it from printing and scanning etc. I will NEVER by another HP product after the way I have been treated, intentionally, by their company. I have also learned that basically ALL inkjet printers are a scam, nowadays. Spend the extra money once on ANY other kind (laser jet or tanks of ink are much better and cheaper) and you'll save frustration and lots of money in the long run. The Inkjet cartridges only last for a few dozen pages and cost a ton of money for each one. Also, the printer doesn't print half the time, or prints something a hundred times for no reason, or waits to print for hours before randomly deciding to print something you beat your head against the wall over the day before because it wouldn't print. This HP device is a WHITE ELEPHANT DISASTER from a company that hates its customers and wants to control everything they do.

This is literally the worst printer ever. I have to restart the printer every single time I want to print, the cord fits loosely and falls out with the slightest bump, and hp support sucks as well. I don’t think I will ever purchase another HP printer after this. I’m traumatized.

This is the worst printer I’ve ever had. The initial ink ran out after only printing a few pages, I bought new ink and after a few pages, you couldn’t even read it, what a waste of expensive ink cartridges. I realize this was an inexpensive printer but I only wanted it to print and it couldn’t even do that. Plus it always dropped the Wi-Fi. This thing is going back.

I bought this a couple of months ago. I mainly use it to scan items and rarely print, but I have already had to replace the ink cartridges twice already. The HP website indicates the black cartridge should make 200 copies and the tri-color should make 165 pages. I haven't even printed a total of 100 pages in two months and very few of them were in color.

I bought this printer to replace my old printer that died. I went with HP because all of my other office devices are HP as well. This had all the features I needed. Unboxed and followed all directions to the letter and have had nothing but difficulties since. You have to download 2 apps, not 1 but 2. You have to register. You then must try and get this to register to your wifi network - this took over an hour. Had to uninstall and reinstall the 2 apps. Finally got something to print. Very slow print speed. I tried to print another document from my laptop via wifi - nothing...again had to uninstall and reinstall the 2 apps and reregister the printer. Bottom-line here is after months of trying the thing doesn't perform it's basic function...PRINT!!!. I can see it registered to my network but I keep getting errors and the 'i' button flashes - I've wasted more paper printing out the same instructions on how to connect your printer. After 4 months of trying and working with tech support, uninstalling and reinstalling the mobile apps it is finally going into the trash today. Such a relief and satisfying experience throwing it into the trash can!!! Would not recommend this product at all.

Printer will STOP PRINTING after the 6 months trial if you do not continue with the PAID subscription that they say in the add/description can be changed or cancelled at any time. You cannot continue to use the ink left in the printer after the 6 month trial or buy your own or it will print an error and info page telling you that it requires a subscription to print. It also does not work with Galaxy S21 or S22 phones for mobile printing. Total scam in the fact you are required to pay a monthly subscription fee in order to use the ink you have in your printer. Waste of money!

Good for home use. Comes with free 6 months ink, that's a plus. Two sided printing is a hassle, you have to manually flip pages over, if your sheets fall on the floor, your messed up :). I use it for scanning and emailing, print quality is ok, but it's under a hundred $. I expected more from HP.

Very easy setup, print is crisp and clear and ink is reasonable for this printer.
