[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a side sleeper I've always had hip pain in the morning but since getting a tempur-pedic it's completely disappeared. I was worried about not having enough support and about it sleeping hot. But I think having the spring coils in the hybrid not only give extra support but also helps keep the mattress cooler. I would say definitely try them out in store before ordering because your weight and sleep position will determine what level of firmness you'll need. Shipping was insanely fast, it was delivered and setup in under a week. All in all for me it was completely worth the price tag.

We purchased two twin Xl mattresses, one firm for me and a soft one for my husband. I love a firm mattress and this one hasn't disappointing me. I really enjoy the adjustable base and from the first night of use I haven't experience any backaches. I do find that the soft one that my husband uses is a little too soft. He has had some back pain, which he had experienced long before buying the new mattress and I attribute it to the mattress being too soft. He loves the adjustable base as well. We have only had the mattress for under 3 weeks. We are still testing it and he might end up exchanging for a medium firmness but he isn't sure yet of what he will do. Buying from City furniture gives us the option for a small fee exchanging it for a different firmness.

When I first bought this mattress I didn't know what to think as I have never owned or slept on a Tempur-Pedic mattress before. Our previous mattress was over 11 years old and was an excellent mattress (Lady Americana). We loved it but of course at 11 years it wasn't as comfortable as before. My wife and I went to a local retailer and tested out multiple Temper-Pedic mattresses and decided on the Pro Adapt Hybrid (Queen) as I am 6'2 and 225 lbs. We also purchased an adjustable ERGO base. This has the Zero G function that relives a lot fo pressure from my wife's back as she has back pain due to an accident and major surgery. The first 3-4 months was not as comfortable as I thought it would be. The reason seems to be that the mattress was actually correcting my sleeping position and this caused my lower back to hurt for about 2-3 months intermittently. After that period I sleep like the dead on our mattress, LOL. I will say that sleeping on my back is a little tricky and this mattress doesn't quite support my lower back as much as my old mattress, but I fall asleep on my side and that does the trick. If you are looking for a mattress to sleep on your back and you are over 200lbs, I would recommend the Lux Adapt (Firm), if you can afford it. Its pretty pricey. I have only had the mattress for just under a year so this review is based on that time frame. So far, so good. I would like to give it a few more years and see how well it holds up. Overall it seems like a good purchase and if you can afford it, this mattress seems like a solid purchase, but only time will tell.

As I approach middle-age I find a comfortable bed to be more and more important. I've had a sleep number bed with a 4 inch memory foam mattress for about the last eight years. Lately it was losing inflation and I had back pain after a nights sleep. I didn't think I could find something more comfortable, but I was wrong. This bed doesn't sleep hot. And I'm happy that I was able to find a soft mattress. The only complaint I have really, is that there aren't more soft mattress options among the Tempurpedic products.

Felt great initially but then I started having back pain and waking up with soreness and hip pain. I am a side sleeper. It sinks in well but don't know why I feel like it's a tad too firm. Am trying to switch to a softer one now. Overall it's a great quality bed.

This mattress was a replacement for a warranty issue that we had with our previous Pro-Adapt. The very first night we slept on this mattress, we noted how "hot" the mattress was. We never had an issue with the temperature, with our previous mattress. In fact, the bedding on the mattress was exactly the same bedding that we used with the new mattress. Since that first night, we have had numerous issues with the temperature of the mattress. Either my wife or myself have been kicking the "lighter" bedding off of us during the night, in order to sleep. I reached out to one of your customer care agents to discuss the issue we were having, and that agent forwarded our complaints to someone other than herself. We received an e-mail a few days later, stating that the mattress was a warranty replacement and that we were "stuck" with the mattress. "There is nothing that Tempurpedic will do at this time"! We paid an additional amount of money for the mattress that the warranty did not cover and at this point, I am greatly considering replacing the mattress with another product. This is not our first Tempuric Mattress that we owned and at this point in time it might be my last. You are not standing behind your product and I am sure that this review posted on Social Media will surely sway others from purchasing a mattress from your company. I originally bought a Sealy Posturepedic - but quickly returned it and upgraded to the Temper-Pro Adapt, Medium Hybrid. That was the best thing I've done in a long time! This is an amazing bed - and I recommend it to everyone who asks... A+++ Superior quality and craftsmanship - hands down the best bed on the market.

My wife and I had our last Tempur-Pedic mattress for about 20 years, so we were concerned at the change. We went with the Pro-Adapt Firm because it reminded us the most of our previous mattress and are so glad we did. Something about the combination of firmness + the slight give of the Tempur-Pedic material makes for an amazing comfort. We have not had an uncomfortable night's sleep since we got it almost a month ago.

We tried all of the mattresses at the Tempur Pedicure store. It was difficult to choose and we settled on the Pro-Adapt Soft. I'm glad we did. It's super comfortable. I'm also so happy that we purchased the adjustable base. I have lower back pain and found that just elevating the foot of the mattress relieves any pressure on my lower back.

My wife really likes the TEMPUR-ProAdapt ... she sleeps much better, longer, and feels much more rested. For me, I wake up every hour or so, thankfully I go right back to sleep ... but the mattress feels hard, not comfy ... cannot sleep on my side as my shoulder starts to hurt almost immediately ... have to stay on my back. So, for me, it is ok, not great.
