I love the new mattress but I wish I had purchased a Medium rather than a Firm. The Firm is excellent quality and there is nothing wrong with the mattress but it is a bit too firm for my needs which I didn't realize at the time of purchase. I may invest in a cushion (foam) topping to add a bit of softening but overall, I like the mattress and the quality is outstanding.

My husband and I have had our new mattress for almost one month. Both of us suffer from arthritis and we have experienced no shoulder or hip pain as we did with our previous mattress. I especially like the fact that I don't feel movement when he is changing positions in bed. I am also sleeping much cooler. This mattress is worth the investment. I also purchased a pillow which has helped decrease my neck pain tremendously. Still awaiting my sheets.

The proadapt medium hybrid split king did support my hips and back which I have issues with however i found my neck getting more sore (which I also have issues with, the mattress didn't cause but irritated). Purchased the tempurpedic neck pillow in hopes of fixing the issue with no luck. I have spoke to many friends who love the product it just didn't work for me. I was tempted to try another style but was worried it may result in the same neck issue.

So comfortable, just firm enough to support your body. This is the second Pro Adapt I have bought in a year. We have two homes and this makes the fourth Tempurpedic I have bought in nineteen years. My hip pain went away after purchasing my first Pro Adapt last year. Will never purchase another type mattress.

So a couple of things to keep in mind, the mattress takes a while to break in and can sleep warmer than other mattresses. With this in mind, choose appropriate bedding, my wife, and I use cooling sheets and blankets as anyone might in the summertime. After the bed breaks in, it does hug your curves and supports you completely. I have had ours now for two months and feel amazing benefits, no back or neck pain, worth the investment. We have tried other companies that ship in a box, and this is just superior quality and manufacturing. One thing I would like to note is they do have the top cooling layer to their bed with the tight-knit material, but you don't notice when sheets are on, unless you sleep directly on, which I know most would not do as it may void a warranty from stains. I wish Tempurpedic would offer the same quality of knitting for the bed as a sheet or blanket set. Pro is the comfort you will obtain, its truly unlike any other bed and it shows how they made memory foam their own. A con, it's relatively expensive, but its made in the USA and they employ US workers, this means a lot to my family. I suggest this bed for anyone with back pain or special conditions. Perhaps another suggestion I could make is most other companies will offer a full money back warranty with no restocking fees and an extended trial period, Tempurpedic is more conservative compared to others, but, they most likely incur more costs than the others do. Excellent mattress, try it out at a store first before buying, as there are many models. Its all about the right feel for you and your body type/preferences. Great bed, sleeping well! I must say that I was worried at spending this much money on a mattress (only because what would really happened if I didn't like!), but went a head and purchased it. It is the most comfortable mattress I have ever been on. No adjustment needed on my part, fall asleep right away and sleep soundly thru out the night. I will never again think twice about getting a Tempur-Pedic again!

We have always hesitated on Tempurpedic due to price, however we are so glad we decided to go ahead and get it because you get what you pay for and we now have the BEST BED EVER! So dont hesitate, just do it, and get pillows, sheets, and adjustable bed too... Its like sleeping in Heaven!!

I have been struggling with poor sleep and snoring for the past 3 years, Ocasionally having lower back pain, thought it was related to testosterone or chemical imbalance but in the end it looks like it was always my mattress and sleep position. I generally would wake up for work at 5:30am and by 10:00am nearly every day would be dead tired and needing a nap. But because I couldn't, I would load up on caffeine, soda or snacks to keep me awake. Once I got home at 3:30pm I would finally get a nap. Right away within 2 days after I got the ergo and pro-adapt bed I was sleeping better, we raised the head up by only 2 inches or just enough my wife could still sleep on her side or stomach but where I could feel my sinuses were less restricted. Now we both sleep much better. She used to have stiffness in her upper back and occasional back pain. Now it is gone. Well worth the money we spent on it.

Finally splurged on a Temper-Pedic mattress, and not only do I love how comfortable it is, my back pain went away and hasn't come back. I'm very glad I bought this mattress.

Before we purchased this mattress, I would wake up after about 3-4 hours with very sore hips. I don't have that anymore. I sleep through the entire night very comfortably. We bought the split king and really like that we can roll around and not disturb the other person.
