The product is very firm although it is supposed to be soft... NOT! It is very low to ground. The metal bar at foot of bed makes it impossible to sit at at end of mattress. Annoying!! I have a king mattress made up of two twin XL mattresses. The mattresses separate at center of bed causing a gap, which is uncomfortable. These mattresses are very expensive and I wish I could return!!!

We absolutely love this bed! Prior to this we had bought a "memory foam" bed on line that was suppose to be amazing (little to no reviews, no one heard of it) and what ended up happening is, it was not good enough! I would get out of bed and my whole body ached! I thought, "I guess this is what old feels like" (I'm 30 years old). My husband stands on his feet all day and would complain of back pain, again we assumed it was being over weight and getting old (he's 33). To our surprise the bed was firmer than the show model and took some getting used to, maybe 5 nights. I immediately noticed a difference when I woke up and stood up from the bed, no pain, and no aches! I feel completely young again! My husband hasn't had back pain since! He has more energy now and we could not be happier! We would recommend this type of bed for everyone! There is a reason why they are the best and we now know, we cant put a price a good sleep! I tested several Tempur-Pedic mattresses in store and determine the ProAdapt Soft model best suited my needs. The mattress was delivered this week and unfortunately, it's much more firm than the model I tested at the store. In fact, it is more firm than my old mattress that I decided to replace due to firmness. I checked the tag to make sure I wasn't accidentally given a medium or firm model, but it says soft. I am giving it the recommended 30 days, but if it does not soften I will ask for a different model or return entirely. My in store experience with the mattress was very high but so far I am disappointed with the mattress I had delivered to my home.

this is our first king size Tempur-pedic and we love it! The firm yet supple feeling is what we like the most-plus having the extra room with a king size offers is even better. We also have the remote adjustable platform which comes in very handy as well. We will have this for many years I'm sure

It was the best decision in my life. I got the adjustable base which I use every time I get into bed. It sleeps nice and cool and nice and comfortable.

I'll be honest, the first week on this bed had me nervous that I didn't make the right purchase. It felt much more firm than the models in the store. I was finding my self tossing and turning and waking up stiff. However, after doing some reading online, I discovered that the mattress needed time break-in and for the Tempur cells to breath. For the first couple of weeks when I was changing the bedding, I let the bed sit "naked" for a few hours, and would even unzip the Tempur cover. I found this made a big difference in the feel and softness of the mattress. Within a few weeks, I was sleeping great. I have had the bed just about two months now and absolutely LOVE it! It's not too firm and not too soft - just right. And supportive too. I have been sleeping great and no longer have the back pain I was experiencing on my old mattress. Would highly recommend!

I admit I had doubts it was as good as advertised, and I am so happy to say I was wrong to have those doubts! From the first night I felt the difference in my sleep and my body when I woke up. It forms perfectly where I need it to, no more waking up in the middle of the night to change positions. My husband is equally satisfied with the mattress, especially not being disturbed when I move around!

I was the type of guy that didn't see the point of buying a expensive mattress. Until I kept buying mattresses that hurt my back. After my 3rd mattress in a year my girlfriend twisted my arm into buying a tempurpedic. After I bought the mattress I do t regret anything. My back has never felt so good 10/10 recommend. Don't think of the price think of the investment.
