[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this washer for six months. It's great for washing light loads of clothes. However, its not to good with washing heavy loads like pillows and rugs. It dies nit spin well with heavy loads.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We built a barndominum on our land out in the countryside of central Texas. It is a small place but due to our dogs and kids we realized quickly that we needed to be able to do laundry here. Unlike my original washer, this washer allows for multiple big blankets that our dogs get dirty and handles our comforters and blankets with no issues. I am shorter but don't have a problem getting laundry out of the bottom of the washer - this was my concern moving from a front loading washer to a top loading one! We also have a Samsung range that is smart things capable so we’re able to access using wifi. Pretty high tech. Set up was quick and easy (done by my husband!)

This washer is terrible. I have had problems since we got it a week ago. Every load comes up error DC4. You troubleshoot, get a load done and it happens again. Everytime the load is either unbalanced or it's not draining right. The lid lock does not unlock, so your clothes are stuck in there, so you can't try to make them balanced. Once the lid does unlock ( I can't find a switch to switch the darn lid lock off). You have to take everything out that is now drenched and try to figure put how ro balance it. Plus this should have an automatic water level setting. I shouldn't have to choose it every darn time. Why get a digital washer if it doesn't come programmed. Worst washer ever. The dryer in this pair sucks too. Foor is flimsy and should have a handle at the top not just on the side. Door doesn't open very far. Plus the darn thing is like 2 inches off the ground so you have to squat to get your things out. The design team for this pair should be fired if they haven't been already

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first experience with an impeller type washing machine. So far I'm impressed. It holds a ton of laundry and it's great for my king size comforters and pet beds. The active water jet feature is nice for pre-treating but that is not a feature I see myself using very often. I do love the SmartThings app. That is going to come in very handy. It was easy to download and set up my appliances. I like that it lets you know how much time you have left on your cycle and it also has downloadable recipes that you can send to your washing machine to customize your wash experience further. Even my pet laundry comes out surprisingly clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer, the Samsung WA47CG3500AW, is great for a house full of kids. The adults benefit as well, because there are so many options for washing all of our laundry. The pre-washing feature is what I have been looking for all my laundry life without knowing it. Now I don't have to try to wash things out in the kitchen and then walk them to the washer. The machine is also so large that no matter how many sports practices, events or swimming parties my boys have been to, my washer kept up with the demand. The one difficulty is the depth. I am only 5'3", and there has been some struggling with getting to the bottom, but worth it all for the efficiency.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall great washer, would have given 4.5 but there is no option to give half star. On the pros it is smart/WiFi connected. Can control it via Smart things. It was automatically detected and was easy to paint and get notifications. On the washer performance, cleans well, haven't noticed any concerns. The only cons are the time it takes is slightly higher compared to other washers I owned, also seems to consume slightly more water .
