Great all around sound bar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great quality! Easy setup, definitely elevates the home viewing experience. Easy to pair with the TV. Also the Symphony mode is very good. Surround sound also works great. Definitely recommend it.

SAMSUNG does it again!

Missing important functionality

sound is good, one biggest drawback is 7 band eq is disabled when surround speakers are on. You can only use 7 band EQ with rear speaker disabled. Samsung should have enable option for better sound tuning.

loginvivek, We appreciate you taking a moment to review the Samsung HW-Q990D Soundbar. You do not need to disable the rear speakers, however to utilize the 7 bad EQ the soundbar "Standard" mode must be set. You can manually optimize your audio experience by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (which looks like a gear), you can set the audio function such as Auto EQ, Spacefit sound, AVA, Voice Enhance mode, Night mode, Sync, Surround speaker mode, Virtual. The desired item can be adjusted using the Up/Down buttons. One of the new and amazing features the HW-Q990D Soundbar has is Sound Grouping, which allows you to enjoy what's playing on your Soundbar and the Rear Speakers at the same time. Alternatively, you can adjust all of these same settings and more within the SmartThings app. Download the app for your iOS or Android device and then connect your Soundbar to Wi-Fi. From here, you will be able to adjust all of the same settings as the provided remote, but with the added benefit of being able to see the changes on your smart device.
