The system also works really well my Samsung TV and plays music and the surround sound system is great for movies and shows.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the privilege of experiencing the latest Samsung HW-Q990D 11.1.4ch Soundbar with Dolby Atmos DTS:X, as I paired this system with my Samsung television. Set-up was straightforward, and the ability to connect wirelessly to my existing Samsung television was beyond convenient. This sound system is sleek, compact, and all-around adaptive to your environment. Featuring a main subwoofer, a front-facing unit with 11-speakers, and 4 up/side-firing speakers-- this soundbar makes for a completely incredible and immersive sound experience. With Samsungs SpaceFit Sound Pro, it's simple to calibrate and optimize sound based on the acoustics of your environment/space. Sound is incredibly crisp and clear, and bass is sharp and unclouded, even with great volume. As a family who utilizes the television for movies, music and gaming, the ability to utilize various pre-sets for optimal sound is a huge plus. We utilize Party Mode when entertaining guests and playing music. We utilize Private mode for late-night television when our kids are sleeping. The HDMI 2.1 has made it possible for my husband to utilize 4k 120HZ when playing his favorite games. We absolutely love the level of elevation provided by the Samsung Q990D across the board. As far as technology goes, this soundbar is incredibly intuitive-- and compatible with our existing smart hub programs, Alexa, Google, etc.. The combination of Dolby Atmos advancements and Samsungs latest Q Symphony technology just can't be beat! Such an amazing system, will totally amplify television, movies, music and gaming-- feel like you are actually there!

The sound is impressive, it fills a room even a big room. I can't give it five stars because the sound bar continues to disconnect from the TV? I have gone online and tried updating the software. I've changed my HDMI cord to an arc HDMI cord. I have a Sony a 90 TV and have set that for the HDMI arc output. I really don't know why it keeps disconnecting and it's very frustrating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Q990D Soundbar is connected to my Samsung QN90D85 tv in the living-room of my condo. The Q-Symphony function makes this soundbar sound amazing. It also has an adaptive sound function to adjust the sound for your particular living space. The sub-woofer and rear speakers are connected by blue tooth so running wires was not required. A little pricey but worth it.

Overall quite satisfied. Was very easy to set up. My big criticism is that there isn't an RCA input in the soundbar. I have a record player that has an RCA output, but no corresponding RCA input in the soundbar. I had to buy a DAC to convert the analog RCA signal to digital suitable for the optical input that the soundbar comes with.

These sound much better than they should for this size. Even though my Sammy TV is a 2019 model the latest firmware update allowed Q-Symphony with this soundbar setup. I couldn't ask for more other than I'd like to be able to add an additional subwoofer please.

Dolby atoms effect is spectacular! Be it movies, sports or listening to just music you will never miss a single detail of the sound. The rear speakers does an amazing job in creating a surround effect. I have some other brands sound system at my home but, this one really stands out. Highly recommend for someone looking for a next level surround sound music system!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works great. I love audio. It easily connects with Bluetooth and my phone as well. It's almost effortless to switch. I mention this because my previous sound system used to not switch to tv audio automatically. The only reason I give it 4 star is because of its size and I could not optimize its listening like bose systems.
