I bought this soundbar about 4 months ago, and it has been amazing, For the price, you are getting a full surround system with everything you need included. The sound quality is amazing, really immersive and balanced, but most impressive of all is the setup, the rear speakers and the subwoofer connect by themselves to the soundbar without requiring you to pair them. Overall I am very satisfied with the experience and quality.

I ended up with this one after a lot of research and just saved up for it and never regretted my purchase. Setting up: This soundbar was very easy to setup to my TV. The sub and 2 extra speakers just connected wirelessly and effortlessly. I just hand to plug the hdmi cable to my TV and changed some sound setting to on the TV. If you wanted to do more advance tuning there's an easy to use app on the phone to do so. Sound Quality: This speaker sounds phenomenal!!!! The sound disperses throughout the room with my movies and gaming. The subwoofer sweeps from left to right. The soundbar actually projects sounds from above. I really feel like I'm in some kind of sound bubble when I'm enjoying my movies. I absoultely love this. I really don't have anything negative to say about this package, it really delivers what you want from a great sound system. There's not many wires or cables to deal with coming from an traditional AV surround sound system. Very clean and slick setup for my gaming and movie needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a fraction of the price of what I paid for my 20-year-old, 6.1-channel, wired, multi-speaker system yet it sounds much, much better. The integration with my TV, Blu-ray 4K UHD player, and Spotify Connect on WiFi brings seamless convenience. What would make it a 5-star system to me are, 1) 7-band equalizer enabled for all sound modes, 2) ability for Channel Levels to be set separately for Left and Right sides, and 3) ability to play Apple Music in full Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos when on WiFi.

I dont normally spend this much money on surround sound but i decided to buy and never had a regret. This is amazing the sound is like nothing I have ever heard before. Crisp clear clean sound. Wireless speakers make install easy. Plus it just looks beautiful. The material feels high quality. The speakers have some weight to them. Definitely worth every cent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Truthfully I didn’t think I’d enjoy this as much as I do since I have a small room and this is placed in the corner, but despite the space constraints this still manages to sound amazing and give me 3D effects all throughout my room. Night mode and active voice enhancement are great as I can sleep to any podcasts or horror stories I enjoy binging. It works surprisingly seamlessly with my LG C4 and my PS5, the bass is nice as deep with movies, games, and music. Adaptive works surprisingly well with music and I’ve grown to prefer these over my old HomePod Gen 2’s for music, I never have to turn the volume past 10% to hear things clearly, 15% if I want louder music, and 20% if I want my house to rattle! Despite the subwoofer only being 8 inches, it puts out a great amount of thump and sounds pretty clean for a Ported sub, it is quite a bit boomy though but overall this is amazing. Definitely would recommend to anyone, and the price really sealed the deal for me. Cannot beat the amount of performance you’re getting for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a smaller Atmos surround sound setup before but had no idea what I was missing with Q-Symphony from Samsung. Combining the TVs speakers (QN85) that sound great on their own. With the HW-Q990D 11.1.4ch soundbar with rear speakers added to the TVs speakers using Q-Symphony, this made my old system sound outdated and drab and it wasn't that bad or old a system being an Atmos 9.1.1 sound bar. The sound is just so crisp from this system that my son who is a huge car audio buff came into the theater room in shock at the clarity of the speakers from the other side of the house. I had the theater room door open and he literally thought it was coming from the next room and not upstairs and the other side of the house. Not only does this sound amazing with shows and movies, gaming on the XBox has me finding myself playing more without my Atmos headset. Setup was way easier than I expected after reading other reviews. Q-Symphony supported sound device was detected by the TV and it did its thing for me. I was very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I set the Q990D up in my living room, on my console top, and honestly, the difference is night and day compared to my older 3.1 soundbar and even my proper 7.1 setup in the basement theatre. Getting it out of the box, you can tell it's premium product. The main bar is substantial, and the rear speakers and subwoofer feel solid. Setup was surprisingly smooth. I plugged everything in, connected the main bar to my TV via HDMI eARC, and the wireless subwoofer and rear speakers linked up automatically without any fiddling. Used the SmartThings app for calibration (SpaceFit Sound Pro setting) was fairly straightforward too – it definitely tuned the sound to my room's layout fairly accurately and this is with a bay window on the left side for added complexity. Turned on a few classic movies to check the sound and this is where the Q990D really shines. Watching movies with Atmos soundtracks is genuinely immersive. You don't just hear sound in front of you; it feels like it's properly surrounding you, even coming from above as advertised. Even listening to music is a step up – it feels wider and more detailed. Use this feature a lot to cast to the soundbar from my phone while making dinner. Love it, shame I didn't upgrade before!

Great...til it wasn't. Disney+, Hulu, Paramount & Peacock all worked along with Prime, Amazon and all of my other subscriptions. In December the first 4 apps stopped streaming only on this TV. The menus work, the trailers and functions work, but nothing will actually play. The apps work fine on the other TVs, tablets and smartphones in the house

Connect the earc hdmi cable and follow on-screen instructions what a breeze! This soundbar makes my living room feel like a home theatre seriously, it's amazing 10/10 worth the cost! I know a wired theatre system would be better but I live in an apartment and can hide cables in wall like I would love to do. This is the best all in one system or home theatre in a box.
