I bought this thought to be wireless surround sound speakers only to find out that they require 120vac to operate. The item written description says wireless, the item graphics depicts no wires attached. I had to pay an electrician to install an electrical outlet on the wall I intended for the installation of my surround sound speaker

Sounds is amazing, great setup for surround with plenty of bass. The only problem is it disconnects from the Smart Things app, meaning it can’t be online to use smart services like Alexa etc. Each time this happens I have to factory reset the soundbar, which is a major hassle. This happened with my last Samsung soundbar also, the Q950T I believe. When Alexa is working, it gets triggered way too easily, interrupting the sound of whatever we’re watching. You can mute the mic, but that turns on a bright red light on the front of the soundbar which is very distracting in a dark room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This soundbar is great for Movies, videos and TV. For music, my older dedicated Stereo system with big speakers just sounds better and more pure. The setup is easy - just plug it in and it works without messing around. The Symphony is nice but I could barely hear the difference - however I can tell it's there if I pay close attention. The bass is good, but not earth shattering. If you don't think it's enough, your expectations are too high. You are the problem. Find this at the right price and it's an incredible value. I'll never be without this soundbar again. It's a game changer.

I made the good decision. I was about to buy sony bravia sound bar but i ended buying samsung because price and features. The sound is so immersive and make it feels like theatrical experience at home. What i like the most is dolby atmos, dtx:x, and spacefit pro which allow sound to move around you in three dimensional space.

It seamlessly connects to all my devices, allowing me to easily stream music from anywhere in the house. The sound is incredibly immersive, making it feel like I’m right in the middle of the action. This is my second surround sound system, having previously owned the 990C. Great overall! Blend right in with my setup with no jarring color.

Sounds good, doesn’t have the stuff that Bose has to direct the sound to your position in the room, but it does have multiple adaptive and surround sound modes that work decent, and night/ audio mode are good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, I think this is the best soundbar you can buy right now. It does come at a prem price so it's not for everyone's budget, but if it fits yours it's well worth it. Sound for both normal TV / Steaming is really good and movies with Atmos are so good. I wasn't sure if I should spend this type of money on a soundbar, but the second I hooked it up and turned on my first movie, I did not regret the purchase one bit. I like how it has full 120 support so I can connect my Xbox and PS5 up to it, so I no longer have any audio delays that I was getting with my older bar that only supported 60. The rear speakers are on the larger side and do have some weight to them, so make sure your speaker stand can support them, or you mount to a sturdy wall spot. The soundbar is also pretty long and heavy, but since I have mine on my TV stand this was not an issue and fits nice under my TV. I think this will be the last soundbar I buy for many many years as it has all the features I need, and I live in a small space, so I don't think I should ever need anything better than this. It connects easily to my Samsung TV and the Q-Symphony does add a nice little extra touch and is noticeable. I do wish the little screen on the soundbar was bigger as it's pretty hard to read the text as it can only display a few Char at a time, I'd say that is its only main design flaw.

I was previously looking into the Q990C and the reviews were extremely positive. One of the major factors that sold me on the Q990D is the 4k 120 passthrough. I'm a gamer that values this feature tremendously. Even though I know I could connect directly to my TV, to have the flexibility and additional ports that supports this is a plus. Along with the sound upgrade, the choice was clear. The rear speakers are simply amazing. All the content I watch, just becomes even more elevated and extremely captivating. The Q990D packs a serious punch and I am here for it!!! It's a beast of a Soundbar!

The Voice Quality is what makes it the best, I could never hear alot of words on the tv before, this unit makes all that go away and now hear every word. The Surround sound and Base is a nice Bonus on top of the Voice.
