The sounds doesn't disappoint. My old soundbar made it hard to make out movies with low talking. This one allows you to bring that sound out more. My kids and I put movies and have a great time with the surround. We feel emersed in the movie.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started my home theater journey with getting a 120 inch 4K projector and ALR wall screen and I thought that would be enough. And it was gorgeous... but I didn't have surround sound and my speakers didn't have that rumbling bass that you get in a theater. It just felt flat. Action scenes just didn't have "it" and it still didn't feel like a theater. And I was trying to recreate the full theater experience at home to enjoy ALL of my movies, shows, and video games like I was actually in a theater. So I did a TON of research and since I wasn't in the market to run surround sound wires all over my living room and through the walls I decided on a wireless sound bar system. There are many out there but almost every review stated the Q990D was the best. So I bit the bullet and was hoping it would get me closer to the theater experience. Well I was wrong. It wasn't close to a theater experience. IT WAS THE THEATER EXPERIENCE! The surround sound is amazing and the bass is sooo powerful! I had to decide between putting the subwoofer behind the couch to right side, or in the front corner to the right of the screen. Behind the couch gave that seat shaking movie theater feel, but the front gave a much more powerful sounding bass and rumble so I went with that placement. The app also lets you fine tune channels and settings which really helps with shows and movies with messed up voice volumes. The picture is with the lights on so you can see the speaker placement. 10/10 speakers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The way that these speakers came packaged made it extremely to unbox and install, the install was a breeze and the speakers were up and running in about 15 minutes! The sound that they produce is incredible! I would personally put it up against much more expensive and more tricky to install Home Theater Setups with top notch speakers and multiple thousand dollar Receivers!

My living room officially feels like a premium movie theater.

I like the sounds that can be heard from the rear speakers that you wouldn't if not for them. It has been great so far looking now to pair it with a Samsung TV as I have an LG TV right now.

It almost sounds like you are like right there in the scenes of the movie/show you are watching. One of the best decision/investment I made was buying this sound system.
