[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This soundbar offers good surround sound with ok bass. Always better than having just a TV to push out the sound. Have always had trouble with the Amazon Alexa part of this soundbar and could never configure that correctly to get the functionality of the Alexa to power on the TV for example. One other thing to add: no fault of the length of the soundbar, however because of the unevenness of the studs behind my drywall I was unsuccessful to be able to center the soundbar to be wall mounted under the TV so on top of the TV stand it goes. Best investment for any OLED TV or QLED TV and works with well with Samsung SmartThings app.

For movies and streaming, the Dolby Atmos and rear speakers create a true surround sound experience — I feel like I’m in a theater. The SpaceFit Sound Pro auto-calibrates the audio to my room, so everything sounds perfect no matter where I sit. For gaming, the directional sound helps me hear every footstep or action around me, giving me an immersive edge in fast-paced games. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this system in my home theater. I have connected a Roku ultra, xbox x, and a 85" QE1C QLED 4K tv. The sound bar continiously disconnects from the tv. Not allowing the Q-Symphony feature to work. I have to unplug the power and replug to get it to work. This happens almost everytime. However when it does work it is amazing, the sound is great and it feels like a movie theater. Another issue I have is the wireless satelite speakers, they still require electrical power, therefore they are not 100% wireless.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to HW-Q990b from the HW-Q850T, and it was a massive upgrade in audio fidelity. 1 ran the Q850T for approx 3 years with a 2020 ON75 Samsung TV for the QSymphony and "Dolby Atmos" compatability. Unfortunately, the Atmos effect was quite underwhelming, and I just didn't hear any upward firing drivers for overhead sound. Iread several different reviews that convinced me to upgrade to the Q990b series a few weeks ago, and am quite happy I did. Dialogue is more crisp, and the Dolby Atmos effect is now very noticeable. One can adjust the individual levels of the upward, side, and wide firing drivers on the main bar and the rear satellites. The rear speakers are now individually powered, and they make their presence known. Unfortunately, the power cables are short and need a nearby outlet if you dont want to run an extension cord. The complete manual is not included though, and must be downloaded. It suggests placing the subwoofer along the same wall as the soundbar, which actually solved my previous problem of the rear speakers losing connectivity at times. I used to have the subwoofer placed in the corner on the opposite wall when I ran the Q850t. Another TV in a nearby room seemed to affect the rear connectivity whenever it was on, as random disconnects became annoyingly frequent when the tv was on. The issue seemed to resolve when the tv was off. Iwas very annoyed when the Q990b experienced the same issue, until I relocated the subwoofer to the same wall as the sound

It's a total game-changer for movies and gaming with its immersive spatial audio and powerful sound. Setup was a breeze, and the SmartThings app makes it easy to fine-tune the sound to my liking. The sound quality is insane, with crystal-clear dialogue and immersive audio that makes me feel like I'm right in the action.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This soundbar is seriously next-level. The Q990D with the rear speakers and Q-Symphony just makes everything sound HUGE. Movies feel like I’m in the theater — the bass hits hard, dialogue is super clear, and the surround sound really fills the whole room. Setting it up was super easy, and it connected to my Samsung TV right away. I love that it’s wireless (except the power cords, of course), so there’s no messy cables all over. Music sounds awesome too — crisp highs and deep lows — and Atmos effects are noticeable without being gimmicky. Honestly, it makes me excited to rewatch old movies just to hear them with this system. If you want your TV setup to sound as good as it looks, this thing delivers. Couldn’t be happier with it!

It makes listening to spatial audio significantly more immersive than with a basic 2.1/5.1 soundbar, and is obviously far superior to TV built-in speakers. I do think the audio could be better calibrated for music, however, as the vocals tend to sound tinny and we lack full control over equalization in some surround modes. Finally, I wish the satellite speakers were easier to mount. In particular, it would be great if they had bottom mounts so that they could be secured to more modern-looking bookshelf stands.

This is some next level audio that is a must have for any Samsung flat screen owner. Seems the louder you put it the more crisp sounds you hear than just from the tv.
