Easy to use Generator

I bought this generator to give me piece of mind living here in Florida. It powers the necessary parts of our house if we were to lose power because of a Hurricane. It is easy to assemble and wheel around while being compact enough to where it doesn't take up to much space. Happy with my purchase.

Good Generator…..5300 DFc

I am in the break- in phase and Generator WGen5300DFC is running good. I have used both Gas and Propane .without issue. The reason for 4 stars is after unboxing I realized the open cage is slight bent, therefore, the generator is also slightly bent. The blue frame of the generator is not even. With this being said, it does not effect the running of generator. Purchased the wheel kit and it rolls and moves fine. (No directions for wheel kit and handle)

Generator disappointed

This generator can't run the 120v plugs at the same time as the 240v ,I have it set up in a shed ,but I can't run a fan at the same time your running the generator .I have to run an extension cord from the house outlet. If you're looking do the same I can't recommend it.

Easy set up, great features.

Bought this 3 months ago and just got around to setting up. It's stupid proof, everything well labeled, the push start and remote start are Fabulous!! Runs smoothly and any concern regarding power outages just dialed down. It's dual fuel but I plan to run exclusively on propane unless it's armaggedon but having a fuel option is nice.

Perfect Size for Smaller House

This generator is not too big but provides enough power incase of a power outage for a smaller home. Has enough output on GAS to power most of your home. There is a slight downside that I didn't quite realize that propane would have a lower wattage output and it could have been advertised with a little more specifics. Bought for hurricane season and I know we will be using it for years to come.

New Generator Start-up

Received the new generator yesterday and prepped it for service today. Started right up and ran without load on ethanol free gas and propane for 30 minutes. Everything working fine thus far. Will hook up to light loads tomorrow and run for about 5 hours. Only suggestion so far is that the oil funnel provided by about an inch longer so it clears the frame for filling/adding oil.

ITS OK

Came with small dent in the frame. It comes with a spout for adding oil which would have been great if it was about 2 inches longer. Still hard to add without spilling. Started up perfectly on the battery. I tried to start with pull cord and that was much harder then my old manual generator

Impressed so far

Just received it, so I have not used it yet in an emergency yet, BUT I am very impressed with its compact size, set up was simple, operating panel is simple, and once I connected it to propane, I pushed the button one and it primed itself and one more push and it fired right up. Really simple! Once running, I was pretty impressed that it was not obnoxiously loud at idle. Seems like a really good purchase at a decent price.

WGEN5300DFC

Nice quiet generator. Easy assembly. Filling the oil can be a bit messy if you're not careful. I wish it came with wheels like most of the others. Also, there is no mention of having to charge the battery before using the electric start. Pull start worked first time, but the battery needed to be charged before electric start worked. Remote start fob is clipped onto the pull cord.

Very happy with the purchase

I have only ran this for the 5 hour break in period and was very pleased with the start up quiet operation. I hopefully will never switch to gasoline. I did have a issue. starting it up for the second time of operation. I have discovered. when the propane is cold it will not run . Say below 40 degrees Fahrenheit I used 20lb propane tanks from the grill, I am in the process of making an insulted. box with a 60 watt light bulb for my six tanks. I will also look into a larger volume tank ,which may correct the issue , But the generator is sweet,
