Shipped very timely packed well in excellent condition. Oil for the equipment was remeasured which was a nice touch as well as funnel supplied. Serviced as indicated and use the remote to start. Very nice started right up ran smoothly Set the breaker and generator to 130 plug a fan in and it powered it just fine not laboring by the motor at all. Purchased this for an off grid configuration due to the remote start and 220 feature to hook directly to my electric panel. Also like the very economical run time on 50% load, 3 year warranty and cast iron block sleeve. Looking forward to many years of service with the unit.

Just purchased and set it up just a few minutes. Started right up and is supplying the camper for its break in. A Tad louder than I thought 68db would be. Guessing I won't be able to run it at many places without complaints. Seems like it will be a string and useful tool. We shall see how it goes and I am optimistic

I’ve been wanting a dual fuel generator for some time now the price was right and I purchased this Westinghouse 5300 DF. I plan to use it strictly with propane because of the convenience of storage and cost. I made this purchase because of electrical failures, especially during hurricanes.

Bought this for winter use, and camping. It fired right up outa the box. Be sure to charge the battery, it only comes with enough juice for 1 start with the push button. It's a perfect machine for what we need. Propane use is a total game changer!!! Stoked!!

We were out of power for 3 days with Hurricane Milton. This generator ran our refrigerator, portable ac, skillet and air fryer. The plus is when we couldn’t find gas we were able to use propane. It ran for 14- 15 hours on one tank full of gas. I was so glad we purchased this!

The dual fuel option is great! I don't have to worry about gasoline left in the tank going bad after a few months and clogging up the carburetor. Instead, if there's a power outage I can just run it as needed from my BBQ LP gas tank and usually that will suffice for normally short power outages in our locale. If they are longer than expected, I can then easily switch to gasoline and add a fuel stabilizer after use. Easy to set up. Goes faster and easier after I read the manual. The extra time, I found was worth it. I am very mechanically adept and able to repair almost anything, but I learned a lot from the excellently written manual.

I picked up one of these to keep the freezer and fridge running during the rare power outage that lasts more than a few hours, I hope to get several years of use out of it. I picked this one because of the small size and dual fuel options not to forget the remote start options as well.

Researched several generators and decided the Westinghouse WGen5300DF would meet our most of our needs, except wish it had parallel ports to add an additional unit. Box was damaged when we picked it up from retailer, and unfortunately, the air filter case was damaged. We will be calling the manufacturer and hope the service will be good.

I bought this when our power was still out from Helene. I have owned similar ones in the past and this one by far has been the best. It was a great value for the money. I like the electric and remote start. Being able to use gas and propane is awesome and convenient when the gas stations were out of gas. Its quiet too! My only complaint is that it doesnt come with the wheel kit. ...

My first generator was the 3600df which is 3 years old and has over 2000 hours on it. I bought this one because of the increased size and range on the remote. I do not believe you can match the price for the features on this generator anywhere. I know you can't match the service they provide if there is a issue. I have never had service this good from anyone. I recommend you buy you won't be sorry.
