Was disappointed as then generator only ran propane at first. After some research I figured out that the carb solenoid was not working. After taking it all apart and trying to figure out why, one of the wires was not connected so it was not getting voltage to work. Sucked seeing as how this was brand new and should work. Luckily I don't mind tinkering. Others who are not into fixing things might have been mad. All in all she runs like a champ now and I'm happy.

This is my fifth Generator this year we use it primarily for RVing full-time the remote start option is a must have would recommend this generator to anyone it seems to be well-built and very heavy duty and will run just about anything a person has to run.

I ordered this item on line and received it about a week later . the packaging was in good shape no dents or gouges . after prepping ,adding fuel and pressing the start button . it started with just a few cranks. because of the automatic choke warmed up and ran smooth. p.s. i will be adding the high altitude kit to add a little better fuel economy

Just received this very nice generator. Easy to start, love that it has a pull start, push button start and a little fob to start. I am truly looking forward to my 1st power outage, as we have too many in this mobile home park. Read the simple instructions to set up. We ran it for awhile and plugged in different things and with all the plugs I will be able to use for alot. I bought a good 30amp cable and a adaptor with 3 plugs as well. I recommend this to anyone for the house, camping, workshop, etc. It came with a LPG long cable, oil, funnel, tool for spark plug changing. I really has all anyone needs.

Filled all fuel receptacles, pushed appropriate switches and buttons, used the remote access key and within a few tries (brand new) started right up. Impressively quiet too. Windows closed, on other side of house, can hardly hear it. So far So godd.

I bought this after a horrible storm hit us for 3.5 days! I was fortunate to have electricity when others didn't. So I thought it would be hard for me to learn how to operate since I'm a single 57 year old woman. Piece of cake! I chose to use propane. It was so quiet and no worries on leaving stored for carborater problems later. I didn't have problems connecting the tank either! Just read the instructions guys!

It's all in the box for an easy and quick set up. Add oil, add fuel, add wheels if you want, fire it up. So simple. Hassle free when you don't need a hassle during power outage. Love that I can run it on propane and not worry about stale fuel issues.

I bought this earlier this month and am happy with it. The noise level is lower; easy to use and operates on either propane or gasoline. Easy to install the wheels and stand. The remote is useful. Could use a better manual or product description to identify where things are that come with the unit!!!.

Bought this for a hurricane but fortunately didn't need to use it this time. I did set it up and ran it to make sure it was ready to go. Very easy start and ran beautifully when I put a load on it. Nice to have the peace of mind that I will have electricity to run my essential appliances next to a storm rolls in!

After the Oklahoma "Icenado" of Oct 2020 when we were w/o power for 4 days I determined to NEVER to BE a VICTIM & caught w/ my pants down. Thru heavy research I found the 5300DF (dual fuel) model the best match for our needs for a modest home w/ 5 people. It would be best for a large RV too. Westinghouse has the best ratio of Price Point, Power Output, best warranty, 1000s of 4+ star reviews & FREE delivery. Ordered it 1/12/21 & it was delivered 1/18/21. The setup is very easy. The nearest town is a 30min drive, so we're "out here". The Propane fuel option is really what sold me b/c it NEVER goes bad & you can hook the Generator to your home Propane tank by teeing off. I saw lots of people filling 5gal gas tanks to run generators at local stations. That ONLY works when the pumps have power. The Propane option is a no-brainer & is easier on my wife & daughters, esp. if you're using small 2gal tanks or a 100gal. The other PLUS is the REMOTE START FOB. You can turn it on from inside the safety of your home. It also has the push button start. I'm going to either install a transfer switch or install a breaker box interlock kit to run the generator directly into our house for emergency backup. We had neighbors w/o power & water for 10+ days in Oct. Family & friends in Texas were worse off during the Feb 2021 snow storm. The FACT that MOST of Texas was w/o power & H20 for 4-10 days is everyone's WAKE UP call that you're On your own. OYO. For my "off-grid" solar friends who were w/o power b/c of cloud cover & snow, the 5300DF will provide a better layer of confidence. You must be prepared cause we're in the Twilight Zone from now on. 2020 & 2021 was a trial-run.
