Excellent features!

We needed a unit like this. We lose power several times a yr. This unit gives us the power and duel fuel we needed.

Super convenient

I bought this last month and am so glad to have it on hand just in case we lose power as we sometimes do. Seems easy to use and convenient to move.

Features are good

Bought recently but haven’t taken it for a test run yet. But appears to be in line with what I need.

Exactly what I needed

After filling with oil/fuel, started first pull. Ran 30 min unloaded. Changed to lpg, started first pull again. Ran another 30 min unloaded. Connected to house it ran 240v water pump 185 feet deep along with a few lights, ceiling fans inside. Those are the basic services we need when power is out. Also much quieter and easier to pull start the I expected .

Damaged

Bought this item a little over a month ago after much deliberation. I liked the features and if it had arrived in undamaged condition I would have been much happier with the product. It came with a dented alternator cover, severely cracked air filter cover, a very noticeable bend in one of the frame bars and a bent choke mechanism. I started the return process but was told the soonest we might be able to get this model again was December. We have already lost power twice this year so we opted to keep it and try to get it running. After arriving in such a condition, I must give it credit for taking such a heavy hit and still operate at all. Remains to be seen for how long. Nice machine for the price if it came in pristine condition.

Generator WGen5300Dfc

Just purchased and set it up just a few minutes. Started right up and is supplying the camper for its break in. A Tad louder than I thought 68db would be. Guessing I won't be able to run it at many places without complaints. Seems like it will be a string and useful tool. We shall see how it goes and I am optimistic

Good design and manual

This generator is well designed, and the manual is very specific and clearly written by people who know about generators. There are some nice touches that really decrease frustration, like the quick disconnect battery, which is so helpful if you are keeping it on a trickle charger (fumbling with little nuts and screws in sub-freezing temp is no fun). It started right up on propane and runs like a champ. I asked tech support a question over email and they got right back to me.
