Really effective

I love this product. My little son now sleeps on a big bed and I don't have to worry about him rolling off the bed. In the past, he would not sleep through the night in his bed but since he started sleeping on a big bed, he sleeps peacefully through the night and so far he hasn't rolled off. I bought the extra long to ensure it covers most of the side of the bed. I'm getting good value for my money.

Unhappy Mom

This bedrail was very, very disappointing. You had to be able reach both ends at the sametime to pull the latch open and closed (to lock into place). One end locked in place but the other side would not lock properly. By the time I hammered it in so it would hold in place I was exhausted. This was not something that could be put up and taken down with ease like it was suppose to do. Horrible. The only good thing was that it was almost the length of the bed.

peace of mind

Exactly what I was looking for. The length is good; any shorter would be useless. It was quite easy to set up (and I am usually not good with printed directions). It's a bit tricky to hide away - it requires a little fiddling with the pins - but can be done by one, with just a bit of persistence. Very sturdy and reasonably attractive.

One thumb up

Bought this for my granddaughter's (3 years old) daybed that we just bought her after she fell out of bed. My daughter was saying it doesn't stay in sometimes and will fall in the floor. Not sure if it's because a box springs is not used (since alone is not needed for the bed.) We like the extra long length and the way it folds. But she does like it.

A Little Caution About This Product

Some people wrote about how difficult it is to assemble.. Well, the instructions have TINY HAND DRAWN images that makes it difficult to follow because most of the pieces look alike.. BUT if you're used to assembling furniture, then you can pretty much figure it out. HOWEVER, there is one thing I should warn you about. This product was bought for an elderly lady to help keep her from falling out of her bed at night. After I spent about an hour putting all of this together, I saw in small print on the instructions that "...this product was intended for children ages 2 through 5 years". Oh Wow.. no where did it say that on the outside packaging or the Walmart website.. Well, I'll see how it holds up because there's no way I'm pulling everything apart... driving back to the store and finding/ordering another unit and assemble that one... One Thing that has me concerned is that Mesh Top. It is kind of cheap.. I thought it was a hardened plastic from looking at the photos on the web site.. but it's cloth.. and I just know it's going to rip apart soon... Well, I really can't make any recommendations on this... just letting you know what to expect if you buy this...

Once up, they are doing the trick. However, there is significant setup. The biggest problem for me is that folding them down is not as easy as I had hoped. I can do it but it takes some time and not as functional that way. I was hoping to fold them down everyday when she was out of bed...that is not going to happen!

I bought this bed rail for my father. He told me if I would not have bought it he would have fell out of bed several times. Thank God this rail is long and high and also strong it does it's job and then some. So worth the money.

Strong and sturdy

This bed rail does what we're looking for. It's strong and easy to put together. The only down side is that it's not tall enough for our bed. It would work perfectly for shorter bed.

This is just what we needed. We are using it on a futon and it does the job. It doesn't slide under the mattress, though, and I think it's because there is no boxspring.
