We put this bed rail on our queen bed since our almost 2 year old daughter likes to sleep in our bed most nights and it makes me feel so much better to know the bed rail keeps her from falling off the bed. She is a wild sleeper and moves a lot during the night and the regalo bed rail has held nice and tightly. I will most likely buy another one when we get her a twin bed so she has one on both sides.

Average product.

The installation is quite simple. Although I am not too happy with the design. There are two square rods that are 1 inch thick that run halfway under the mattress. I wonder if this damage the mattress. Also there are two pins that lock the rail in upright position. This locking mechanism seems to be cheap. I don't expect this to last too long. I got it recently from walmart. The only plus is that it is not a too expensive product. So if you don't want to spend too much you can give it try.

Highly recommend

I bought two of these for my 2 yr old daughter's new queen size bed. They were quite a pain for my husband to put together but once they were both put on they are very sturdy & hug the side of the mattress very closely so I don't have to worry about her falling into any holes! They cover almost the entire length of the bed allowing her a little spot on each end of the bed to climb in & out of. I recommend the rails, just wish they come put together already! I haven't tried the hide-away feature yet but I don't see myself using that anyways.

Good overall

I read a the review s before buying and I knew some of the problems that I was going to run into and yes I did, but I'm still satisfied. Took me 15min with help from my husband, but it was all done and didn't fit my toddler bed but I'm still keeping it bc as long as its stable and hold her in bed it's a keeper for me and she loves it too. It did not rip on me. If you put it together correctly u will not end up ripping if u but it wrong and pull on it took much by stretching to much yes it will rip. So I give it a 5 star bc I like it and my baby does too lol.

One thumb up

Bought this for my granddaughter's (3 years old) daybed that we just bought her after she fell out of bed. My daughter was saying it doesn't stay in sometimes and will fall in the floor. Not sure if it's because a box springs is not used (since alone is not needed for the bed.) We like the extra long length and the way it folds. But she does like it.

Does what it is supposed to

This bed rail works fine to keep my toddler safe in his high twin bed. The length is about 1.5 feet shorter than the standard length twin bed, which leaves room for him to get in & out via a stool, but not enough for him to fall while sleeping. It took about 45 minutes to assemble and the instructions were fairly understandable.

great product

this product is a very good product. My 2 year old son is tosses and turns all night and will actually pressed himself up against the barrier and it does not move. The only thing is it a little bit hard to put 2, one on either side of the bed. My side rial in the bed hangover where the rails go and the plastic joint on the rail don't fit well but was able to make it work.

Perfect fit!

I bought this bed rail for my grandson who just came out of his toddler bed. It works wonderfully and I love the fact that it is longer than usual. My grandson squirms around in bed so much that he ends up at the bottom of the bed every night but this rail holds hm in and prevents him from falling out. Great product!

Almost everything I expected

This product is doing its job so far for us! We are using it as we transition our 2 year-old from crib to twin bed. Rail doesn't seem quite as sturdy as I imagined it would be, though it does stand up to my toddler climing over it into the bed! Fairly easy to put together. Had a little difficulty putting the side rail down. Other than that, no complaints!

Wonderful Product

My elderly mother was practically bedridden. The hospice care nurses kept suggesting I bring in a hospital bed but there was no place to put one. I was thrilled to be able to find an extra-long bed railing (i.e. not necessarily for a child) that would neatly slide away under the mattress when I needed to get her up and that would also lock into place so she couldn't roll off the bed and hurt herself during the night. (I only got to use it for a few days before she passed away, hence the used it once per year rating.) I highly recommend this product.
