this product is a very good product. My 2 year old son is tosses and turns all night and will actually pressed himself up against the barrier and it does not move. The only thing is it a little bit hard to put 2, one on either side of the bed. My side rial in the bed hangover where the rails go and the plastic joint on the rail don't fit well but was able to make it work.

My daughter has slept in my bed for over 2 years and then I decided to transition her to a "big girl" bed. I had placed pillows next to her but she would kick those off the bed in the middle of the night. After worrying every night I decided to do some research and found this item. I went with the extra long as it had the option to fold away. I put this together by myself even though the directions weren't completely clear but it's not hard to do. It has the easy fold away option. The one con is that Target has this same product for almost $10 less. I had already put it together then I found out the price difference. Since it was alreany up I took the hit as it would be too much energy to take it down and take it back to the store.

So our 14 month old started walking at 8 months and soon after was attempting to climb out of her crib. Our crib was not the convertible type so we put the crib mattress on the floor but each morning she was anywhere but on her mattress so we decided to get her a twin bed. Even on the floor the mattress and box spring seemed high so we bought this rail. I got it store to site in about a week and I was able to put it together by myself with minimal cursing. We have had it about 2 weeks and its holding up well even though she puts her weight on it and tries hanging from it. I think she likes it she puts herself down for a nap most days. I am pleased with the purchase.

I actually bought this for my motorhome. I have bunk beds, and a baby. I didn't want to drag along my pak-n-play with me, so I figured it would fit the opening of the bunk. It definitely fits the length of the opening (and then some). The only thing is, it's just a little too tall for the opening.... which is a great feature for a normal household bed. Luckily I found another great use for it. It fits the bed (located above the cab), which is great. I also have a 5 yr old, and it would be a pretty large drop from the bed onto the floor. At least I can feel good about her having a barrier from the edge.

This is a very cheaply made product. I was really looking forward to using this on my bed for my son. After I got it put together, my husband noticed that the pull part where the fabric is tearing and coming apart, so you can't secure it to the bed. Definitely taking this back to Walmart and will not be buying another!!!!!

I got this rail and had 2 faulty parts in it. I was a little dissapointed at first but i called Regalo and got a replacements within 4 business days from calling. My wife love it as she can put our daughter in bed with no problems. This rail is good for the money you spend and i would recommend it to anyone.

This guard rail is just what I needed. It was easy to put together and fits the whole bed. We needed it for a queen size bed, for when the baby is sleeping with her mother. My daughter is very happy with it. Great price, good quality easy assembly. I would recommend this to anyone.

I purchased this product and was amazed at how sturdy the construction of materials were. Instructions to assemble were easy to follow. The only negative thing I did notice is that if you have a deep mattress with a pillowtop, then the rail is not as high. Other than that I am satisfied with the bed rail.

I can't review the "hideaway" function of this because I installed this behind a bunk bed rail to add height over a tall mattress. I had put one of these together for a bed at my mom's house previously. I was impressed by the sturdiness so when I became in need of one I ordered the exact same one for my house. I will agree with previous posters about the pathetic instructions. Obviously the second time around setup was a breeze because I had done it before. The rail does seem very sturdy. I think it would keep ME from falling out of bed. =) It seemed to install okay on a loft bed with a bunky board under the mattress. The mattress must be at a slight tilt because the bars under the mattress lift one end. I didn't notice this when lying on the bed however.

I bought thiis product for when my infant slept in bed with me. I thought this would be good because you could fold it away under the bed, and I could use it only when I needed it. My only complaint with this product is that it has hard to get in and out very often. The parts stick sometimes, and if you are holding a baby it is very difficult. However, it does keep him from rolling out of bed which is what I wanted it for. So for that reason I would reccommend this product.
