I would recommend this product, however, I had to return mine to the store because the groove in which the rail slides on was very jagged. I think it became jagged as I was trying to set it up. As long as you read the directions carefully, it's not that difficult to set up. I did it by myself!

disappointed

I can't say if the product was any good because I ordered it sight to store. When I went to pick it up the box was mangled, it was an item that obviously had been opened and returned to the store with masking tape holding it together. I left the item at the store. Watchout for the sight to store purchases, you may not get what you pay for.

Sturdy Product, Easy to Assemble

Simple to set up, no tools required. I was a little worried about that, there were a couple of reviews that said it was difficult to assemble, but not so. Seems very sturdy. It is not made to keep the child in bed, so if that is what you are looking for, this isn't it. It keeps the child from rolling out as they sleep, and that it does well. Easy to fold up and stow under the mattress.

Better than I expected

We purchased this product to use for our 3 year old who we just moved from a toddler bed to a twin size bed. After reading a couple of the reviews, it turned out to be better than I thought it would be. It was a little confusing to put together, but worth it. It slides under the matress easily and it very simple to put back up at night. It is the perfect length as well. It is almost the length of the bed. Great product so far and I would definately recommend it!

Good product

We bought this because the product description stated that it would work with even the thickest of mattresses. (Our 2-year-old sleeps on a very thick pillowtop.) While it is higher than most, it only goes a few inches above her mattress, which was a bit disappointing. At first we were going to return it, but it is the ONLY product we found that will even go this high and a few inches is better than nothing. So far, it has held her in on numerous occasions (prior to using it, she'd fallen out of bed a few times). Set up was fairly easy. Transporting it not so much, but it is doable. It's nice and long too, so if your child moves around a lot, it's a good choice. Just note that it only fits on one side of the bed -- works good if the bed is up against the wall on the other side.

Just what I wanted

I have a toddler that likes to sleep with me. I'm a single mom so I don't mind. The problem is, I don't get a good night's sleep because I'm scared she is going to fall off of the bed. Even if I stack pillows at the edge of the bed, they end up on the floor by morning. I'm still nervous with a standard size bed rail because my toddler is from one end of the bed to the other throughout the night. This extra long bed rail is perfect. I also love how it can easily be dropped and slid under your mattress when not using. It was a little confusing putting it together but I figured it out.

very satisfied with rail

Rail is sturdy and tall. It's little bit difficult to put it together, because instructions are not very good. But I did it in about 30 minutes. Hide-away feature is great. My son loves his new bed. I am giving 4 stars because of the instructions...other then that...GREAT PURCHASE :-)

not the greatest

I was looking for a rail to keep my toddler from rolling off her new junior bed. the pins you pull to release the rail are poorly designed and awkward for multiple daily use. Wish I would've shopped around a little more. If you plan on keeping it up all the time, then it's durable and well-made.

Good Product Great Value

Purchased the bedrails for 20 month old granddaughter who climbed out of her crib. Was looking for the same type of rail that I used for her mother but couldn't find it. We are not using the extension that goes to the other side of the bed. Probably useful for an adult but not needed for children. We purchased 2 - one for each side of the bed. She is a mover so I like that they are longer. Wish they just had capped legs on the arms for under the bed. Very pleased and they will do what we were wanting.

Extra long is definitely worth the few extra bucks

Easy to assemble, easy to use and easy to travel by vehicle. I also put a body pillow next to the rail for my three year old. PEACE of MIND and very cozy for her! Go the extra and get the extra long. P.S. Have it shipped to your closest store to avoid shipping charges!
