This does exactly what I needed it to do! I have a 16 month old daughter that I moved to a queen size bed because she has a little sister on the way! The only resaon I gave it 4 stars was because its not made for a platform bed which I have. We made it work though. We laid 2 boxes that we flattened out underneath the mattress so the straps wouldnt slide between the wood slates. Shes rough with it just like any little kid would be. She will hold it while she bounces on the bed and pull on it but it doesn't go anywhere and stays in place! It took me about 20mins to put together and another 10mins to put on the bed with the help from my bf. I was a little skeptical after reading the reviews but SO GLAD I went and bought it! :)

I bought this product to assemble it in my King size bed so that I could breastfeed my baby and fall asleep without worry. It was pretty easy to assemble it took me about 20 minutes at night. It does stay very tight to the matress and there is no way that the baby would fall in any gaps because there is none. It is very long as well, so if the baby "navigates" away or slides down the rail will prevent the fall. The only negative side is that is pretty hard to unlock the mechanism that allows you to tuck the rail underneath the matress, my husband does it for me. It is very sturdy, and it comes with a travel bag although if you want to travel with it you will have to disassemble the whole thing and assemble it again at destination. I will test this feature soon as we will visit my sister in law. I think it will be easier than carrying a playard in our tight sedan car.

We are extremely,happy with Regalo long bed rail. We put this at head of bed,instead of in the middle. Person can get up,but it serves it's purpose in that person can not fall out of bed. Person is ambulatory,but turns in his sleep and has fallem on the floor before we installed the Regalo rail.

I love the way this product almost is the length of my two years entire twin Bed. We have only had it installed a week but it seems to be holding up well. I bought two of them for either side of the bed. The product is really not made for that but if you cross the frames it works well. I know that there are 2 sided rails but I could not find one with extra length. I am very happy witht he product. it folds down easy for making the bed.

I bought this rail for a twin bed that was mostly for my 3 yr old Granddaughter. The problem I have with it is the bed also will be used by an adult from time to time. The rail that is under the mattress is about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inch thick, which means there is a gap that big between the mattress and box springs, when I sat on the bed the pressure of my weight on the bar made the box spring sound like it cracked. This is a brand new mattress set and not a cheap one either. The rail would be fine on a platform bed or a bed used only by a child.

My almost 3 year old has been extremely rough with this rail, and it has held firm. He has shook it hard and held onto it while jumping up and down. You are suppose to be able to slide this under the bed, but I haven't felt the need to do this because I am able to make the bed wth it up, and the sight of it doesn't bother me. The only issue is that my son, who picks at everythng, picked a tiny hole in the mesh. A good scolding put a stop to any further picking, but still it would be nice if the mesh was stronger, so that he couldn't have put a hole in it. I am, however, happy with this purchase, since I have no fear of my son falling out of bed or getting his head stuck in the rail.

My daughter has slept in my bed for over 2 years and then I decided to transition her to a "big girl" bed. I had placed pillows next to her but she would kick those off the bed in the middle of the night. After worrying every night I decided to do some research and found this item. I went with the extra long as it had the option to fold away. I put this together by myself even though the directions weren't completely clear but it's not hard to do. It has the easy fold away option. The one con is that Target has this same product for almost $10 less. I had already put it together then I found out the price difference. Since it was alreany up I took the hit as it would be too much energy to take it down and take it back to the store.

This bed rail was fairly easy to set-up and securely fastens to the bed with minimal work. I have never used a different type of bed rail so I have nothing to compare to, but it seems sturdy and durable. Overall, I would recommend the product and I would buy it again.

This rail is exactly what I needed for my girls, too high trundle twin bed. I can now rest knowing my girls will not hit the floor in the middle of the night. This is my second extra wide rail, because the children lean or hang from it, which causes it to bend. Now when they're not in bed I slide it under the mattress.

We needed a bed rail for one side of our daughter's bed and, as I found out, not all bed rails are created equal. We found this one and opted for the site-to-store delivery to save on the delivery charge. That process was very smooth and the product meets our expectations. It is durable enough for an adventurous, creative 3 1/2 year old, and does fold nicely under the mattress (just might get caught in the bedding a little). It definitely is more durable than others we looked at and we are glad we purchased this one.
