Would recommend this bed rail. My husband put bed rail together-THANKFULLY. It was a little complicated. It works great. It will take two hands to lower or raise the bed rail. I only lower it if I'm changing sheets or we have company. I can do this by myself if I use two hands. Note: I easily snagged the netting with my wedding ring, so be careful!

Works perfectly. Completely blocks the side of a twin mattress. We already took this out of town with us. It was easy to just to slip it under the mattress at the hotel. I little confusing to set up initialy (lots of parts)but well worth the assembly required.

We purchased this bed rail for our 2 year old who is a bit big for his age. Haven't had it long, but so far it's held up great. Took a while for my husband to put it together, but now that it's up it seems very sturdy. The fold down feature is quite nice when changing the sheets, you just have to be smart about how you do it. The extra long length is nice too - he can be a wild sleeper and this nearly covers the entire side of his twin bed.

I would recommend this product, however, I had to return mine to the store because the groove in which the rail slides on was very jagged. I think it became jagged as I was trying to set it up. As long as you read the directions carefully, it's not that difficult to set up. I did it by myself!

Simple to set up, no tools required. I was a little worried about that, there were a couple of reviews that said it was difficult to assemble, but not so. Seems very sturdy. It is not made to keep the child in bed, so if that is what you are looking for, this isn't it. It keeps the child from rolling out as they sleep, and that it does well. Easy to fold up and stow under the mattress.

The set up was very easy for both my husband & I working as a team (I read the directions and he put it together.) The instruction booklet was very simple to read and understand and it couldn't have taken us more than 10-15 minutes to put the bed rail together. Our 3 year old son seems very safe and secure in his twin bed - thanks to the long length of this bed rail. We've only had it up for about a week and so far we are pleased with our choice in purchasing this particular product. We ordered it online and chose to pick it up at our local store (site to store); which was great because we saved on shipping and had no trouble in getting it. Hope this review helps!

Exactly what I was looking for. The length is good; any shorter would be useless. It was quite easy to set up (and I am usually not good with printed directions). It's a bit tricky to hide away - it requires a little fiddling with the pins - but can be done by one, with just a bit of persistence. Very sturdy and reasonably attractive.

My elderly mother was practically bedridden. The hospice care nurses kept suggesting I bring in a hospital bed but there was no place to put one. I was thrilled to be able to find an extra-long bed railing (i.e. not necessarily for a child) that would neatly slide away under the mattress when I needed to get her up and that would also lock into place so she couldn't roll off the bed and hurt herself during the night. (I only got to use it for a few days before she passed away, hence the used it once per year rating.) I highly recommend this product.

The rails are pretty sturdy for the price. They do the job even without handles locked in place. I am very pleased with the durability of the rails. They are even sturdier when the secure legs are up against the opposite end of the mattress. They could be a littel taller but it might be that my mattress is a queen pillow top. Even with the pillow top, the rails go over the mattress and then some but my toddler likes to stand using the rails and when he stands, they are no longer very tall...lol

We bought a new queen size, pillow-top bed to use with the rails when our grandson was ready for a big-boy bed. One thing we didn't realize when we purchased the bed, was that the new mattresses are very high. The bed rails only come up several inches on the sides, so we had to pad the rails with pillows. It's better than nothing, but not as safe as we'd like. Measure your mattress first. The construction is not the best, they feel cheaply made. When putting the rails down and tucking them under, you need two people, because they feel like they are going to bend. They are just an average purchase.
