I purchased this soundbar a couple weeks ago and it's absolutely amazing!! This is one of my first soundbar purchases in awhile and the atmospheric music just seems to flow through you and the entire room!! My living room sounds like a movie theatre now! The sound is so clear, crisp, and the subwoofer is also great! You can tell a huge difference in the sound. I love this soundbar so much! It's on sale and a great value. I would absolutely recommend this soundbar to everyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the sound from this thin but mighty soundbar using Q-Symphony. My tv is hung from the wall, and this soundbar works perfectly for my situation where I have the soundbar hung under my tv using a soundbar mount that connects to the back of the tv. My only gripe would be when I needed to do a firmware update... Out of the box I was getting hardly any bass from the woofer. I called support and they suggested updating to the latest firmware which did fix the problem, this is something that I thought I had already done through the SmartThings App. However the latest firmware update SmartThings was not recognizing, Samsung sort this out! This also happened on my previous Samsung soundbar. Next problem was this soundbar comes with a USB-A port, who does that! Luckily I still had a usb-a drive lying around in the back of a drawer however then I realized there is absolutely no way that ANY USB drive is going to fit where they have placed this usb port, totally dumb design, I had to purchase a USB extension cable that would connect from my usb drive to the port in the corner of the soundbar. Whoever designed that should be fired, such a dumb design that you cannot directly plug a usb drive to the port because of the corner that it is placed in, and a USB-A port as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use our media room throughout the day, everyday, so we try to only install the best bang-for-our-buck hardware we can. We chose the Samsung HW-S800D (3.1.2 channel setup) with the goal of high quality theater-like sound in mind. I’m a pretty big fan of Dolby Atmos’ capabilities, so that alone was a big selling point for me. Set up wasn’t too easy or too hard. The instructions could’ve been illustrated a bit better. The subwoofer didn’t automatically pair with the soundbar like the instructions said it would to, and my wife had to do the manual pairing process a few times to get it to stick. It was worth it though (wife agrees) with how nice the 3.1.2ch setup is. Genuinely great quality for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This soundbar has been a great addition to my media room. When Samsung says it’s a slim soundbar, they really meant it. As a result, it not only looks great just about anywhere, but sounds much much bigger. After adding this device to my SmartThings app, the Soundbar seamlessly/wirelessly connected to my Samsung OLED TV. The sound quality is amazing, with almost any feature you can think of (i.e. Dolby atmos, voice amplifier and enhancement, adaptive sound, etc.). The bass that the subwoofer provides is spectacular. It truly feels like an immersive theatre experience when watching movies and shows. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a high quality soundbar addition to their home.

V it's already up and running and playing the sound from whatever i'm watching. If i'm not careful I can wake the neighbors up with this thing. So we keep it under twenty volume after ten p m haha!

Purchased less than a year ago. It's on its way to Samsung for repair. It stopped working altogether about a month ago. I have it paired with a Samsung 65 OLED TV for reference. Working with Samsung support; first they had me go through all the troubleshooting steps with no luck. Waited a week for them to send me a new remote (USB-C chargeable, which I have for the TV and I find both are terribly unreliable). Got the new remote...no luck in anything. Today I sent the soundbar, remote and all cords and power supply to them. With any luck, maybe I'll get a working unit back. Terribly disappointed, as I got rid of a spectacular soundbar from another vendor to get one that matched the TV/vendor and is much slimmer in size.

It is very thin and discreet in size that it doesn't give away my 65" "Painting" as a TV. The installation is flawless. I use the TV+Soundbar settings (Q-Symphony) and Adaptive sound. It was a total game changer. I experimented with Twisters, Top Gun Maverick movies to test the Dolby Atmos. Its was GOOD. The small subwoofer shows its weakness in a big room. But what can you expect from a 9" woofer. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.
