[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been extremely impressed with the Samsung S-Series Soundbar HW-S800D. The overall sound quality is excellent—clear, balanced, and immersive without being overwhelming. It's also sleek and low-profile, so it fits nicely into the room without drawing too much attention.

One thing that really stood out to me is how well it handles dialogue. As someone who is hearing impaired, I often rely on closed captions when watching TV or movies. With this soundbar, that's changed. The voice clarity is outstanding—speech comes through crisp and distinct, even during scenes with background noise or music. I've found myself turning off captions more often because I can actually follow conversations comfortably.

Setup was straightforward, and it integrated easily with my TV. I also appreciate that I don't need a complicated multi-speaker setup to get a rich, full sound experience—this all-in-one design does a great job on its own.

I am able to turn off subtitles on my TV and just listen to the dialogue without having subtitles to watch.  When I upgraded my TV to a Samsung Frame, I decided to stay with Samsung for the soundbar rather than use my existing soundbar.  The wireless feature works flawlessly and it's nice to have fewer wires to worry about and try and hide.   The sound of such a low profile exceeds anything that I have used.  Installation and setup was easy.  I am very happy with this soundbar and my new Frame TV.

It delivers great quality sound that's perfect for watching movies or listening to music. The sound bar itself offers crisp, clear sound that catches every word, while the bass speaker never misses a beat, delivering just the right amount of bass that drops directly in the center of the film. The total immersion of sound offers a whole new feel to movie watching. With its built in Bluetooth feature, it make connection simple for enoying your favorite playlist directly from my cellphone. The built in preset equalizers modes for perfecting your sound was a huge plus for fine tuning. The sleek design proved to be the perfect dimensions for complimenting my 77in OLED S95F fitting just right when wall mounted underneath. Overall... this was a great buy. Samsung didn't miss with this one.

Sleek and Good Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I like this soundbar.  The audio clarity and depth from movies and streaming content is very good.  The connectivity with our Samsung TV and the soundstage feature makes a really nice room filling experience.  The size of the soundbar is awesome and with a couple of 3D printed stands, it sits up off of the stand below the TV and just blends in.  The one negative I have with this device is the built-in Alexa.  This was something that made me lean towards this particular model and I have to say, it's less than stellar.  The response is slow and it doesn't integrate well with the other Echo devices.  For example, I have a group of devices that I like to play music on throughout the house.  This device is our main one and I cannot integrate it with the Alexa app into this group.  It's also on the older version of Echo's software so it has trouble with some of the automations I have set up for lights and outlets.  This isn't a big detraction from how good overall the device is though.
