Seems well built

Purchased it for piece of mind. I have only ran for about 6 hours so far and that was for the break in and multiple oil changes. One of those hours I did have it hooked up to my house and it powered everything I wanted with extra watts to spare ( that's why I bought a bigger one I read you only want to use about 60 % all the time to last longer) seems well made . only complaint it does use more gas per hour than other comparable models but that's it

Easy to assemble and starts right up.

Got the generator the eve of the 2015 blizzard. Setup was a snap and starting was even easier. This was a replacement for a older generator I had and between the two units genarac wins hands down, would recommend it to anyone even if your not handy with mechanical things. my grandma could put this together.

First Generac

It is a little noisier than expected. But for 7500 watts and the portability, it is no issue at all. I've had other brands of generators in the past, and the quality of Generac has exceeded my expectations. As a homeowner and Master Electrician I give it an A+

Great Generator

This is a great unit. I live in a colder climate in a home with base board electric heat. The unit handles the house load well. I had no problem with the 2 ton heat pump/air conditioner. Assembly was easy enough, but instructions on wheel assembly could be improved with larger diagram. This unit is heavy. The pneumatic tires are good. the only negative is the wheels should be bearings instead of bushings. This could make the unit a little easier to move around. Unit is a little loud, but that can be expected with a 30HP engine. A second muffler attachment could help if it didn't place to much back pressure on the engine.

Great Quality

This is the third Generac I have owned and it is the very best. The electric start is wonderful and all the features can't be beat.Glad to see solid tires no more flat tires. Very reliable and the heavy duty chord that comes with it it is very handy.

From delivery to operation the instructions are very easy to follow and assembly went quickly. Generator is very easy to operate

I have already put the generator to use and it works like a champ. No bogging down even under high AMP. Very impressed, really not as noisy as I feared, and the easy on off makes operating it a breeze. Very low fuel consumption which made it even better for the overall cost. I have looked into service the generator myself and this should be just as easy. Overall best generator I have come across

Best bang for the buck!!!

I bought this generator to run sewerage ejector pumps at a townhouse complex in case of a power failure. After un crating it I've decided to purchase another unit for my own house for standby use. For the price you can't beat it. Who cares if it never gets used.

Just when you need it . . . !

My wife and I live in a very rural, small town in Middle Tennessee, and, as the nature of the beast when you live in a setting such as this, we often lose power. We have been "thinking" about getting a generator for some time now because we often have ice storms during the winter that can knock out our power for several days at a time. However . . . It was a recent wind storm that finally "pushed us over the edge", and we took the plunge and purchased our Generac 8000E. Our entire county sustained major damage to the electric infrastructure due to 40 to 60 mile per hour winds, knocking out some peoples power for as much as two weeks. When I went to a local Generac distributor, the staff asked me questions about what I would want to power in my home, and if I wanted a generator that would be easier for me to use. Looking at the three models they had on display, my wife and I decided to get their 8000E, and we were not disappointed. It took us about 45 minutes to set it up, put in the oil and gas, check it out, and when I hit the start button it cranked right up with no problems. Right out of the box, we ran that thing for three days, providing power for two refrigerators, a freezer, lights, and even our TV and DVD player. Not to mention we were able to charge up our laptops and cell phones, too. It was a purchase that was a long time in coming, but it was well, well worth it!

Nice Generator.

Just bought another home in a more "woodsy" section of town. The home already had a transfer switch added on so I wanted to buy the best generator out there, Generac. The generator worked excellent during hookup, hopefully I will not have to use it again. But for peace of mind during outages, I glad I have a Generac.
