[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This generator is absolutely amazing! The quality is awsome and holds up great. The best thing I love about this generator is that it automatically monitors the co levels and shuts it down if it's too high. I have small children so this makes me feel so much better knowing that it's safe. Another thing that's great is it comes with the cord that you need for it. A lot of generators you have to buy that separate. Overall this is a really good generator to have. I recieved this as a sample and this is 100% my own opinion!

Selected the GP7500E above two other choices. Assembly was easy but, I was filling up the gas tank and the gas was leaking out the carb almost as fast as I was pouring it into the tank. Called customer service and found out this is a know problem! Now, instead of taking it to our cabin this weekend, I am taking it to a Generac Service Center. Very unhappy that it is leaking gas out the carb and it is a know problem! Maybe I will get a gift card for all my problems.......but......I don't think so!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came at just the time I needed it, we had a bad storm and lost power for a while, and i got a chance to us it! I'm impressed, it did it's job!! It was so easy to put together, the instructions were clear cut, and I'm overall impressed with it. If I had any qualms, i would say it's a little pricy for me, but I'm so very thankful I now have one. It's a good product and I would recommend.

I bought this unit to replace a larger generator two years ago. It went through on hurricane like a champ. One half of my home was easily powered (which was more than enough, 1 AC 3 yard pumps, misc. 20 A breakers). The unit stores easily when not in use and is easy to move to hook up the transfer switch. I recently had a bad battery and the folks at Generac are replacing it. What a pleasant surprise and a guarantee that I will buy another Generac when the time comes.

Everything with this product met my expectations and functions were easy to use. However the only thing I have to complain about was the products packaging was perfect but the product was damaged inside the box. The fuel line nipple was broken at the back of the control valve and was leaking fuel. The problem was the fuel line was cut too short and pulling on plastic nipple.

I have had this generator for 3 years now. Due to a more dependable electric grid lately, I haven’t needed to use it for a power failure. I do however try to start it quarterly for preventative maintenance. I keep the battery charger plugged in since the control seem to drain the battery constantly. Last week when I tried to start it, the battery was low and I couldn’t start the generator. The manual pull worked, and I ran the generator for 1 hour. I guess I’m in the market for a replacement battery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I turned off the power in my home to test this generator out. Needless to say, I'm very impressed. It took quite a bit of gas to fill up, but it didn't burn through it at all. I let it run for an hour and I couldn't tell that any gas was used. I live in a three bedroom trailer. This generator let off enough power to keep my central air running and my refrigerator going as well. Assembly was extremely easy and laid out very well to understand. The portable feature is amazing as well. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied.

Got my generator yesterday, a day sooner than I expected.The delivery man was very nice and pleasant to talk to. Opened up the generator and was pleased with the look. It took a day to find time to get it running, but when we did it ran just fine. we have a Generac 5000 that doesn't have the electric start and my husband can no longer start it, that is the reason for the new one.. Thought we could hook it up to the old switch, but it is only good for 6000 watts, so must get that problem resolved. other than that, very pleased!

After only 75 hours of operation, my generator control panel caught fire at the 230VAC outlet. I took it to an authorized service center in September, where I was told it would be covered under the warranty. It is January and I am still waiting for the repair to be completed. Otherwise it is a great generator. I bought 2 more, 1 for each of my 2 sons. I just wish the warranty service was more timely.

The machine is easy to put together, easy to use, works well, and provides many safeguards and creature comforts that are really nice to have. This unit was easy to put together, the instructions are clear and it comes with everything you need to get started. One of my favorite things about this unit is the CO-Sense Technology. Carbon monoxide is terrifying but this unit is engineered to protect against that by automatically shutting off when unsafe levels are detected. Then it alerts you about it. Another important feature is the hour meter tracker, it counts down and lets you know when the machine should be serviced. Another cool feature is the low-oil safeguard. It will automatically shut off if the fuel level gets too low. All of these safeguards are so extremely nice to have. In previous units I've owned, there were not reminders or safeguards. It's nice to know exactly what to do and when to do it with this unit. Not only is this generator easy to put together, easy to use, and comes with awesome features, it actually runs really well and does a great job at providing the energy needed to run necessary components of my home. I'm extremely happy with this unit. I love all of the safeguards, how easy it is to use, and how well it works. I would absolutely recommend it!
