So I heard Generac has a great reputation for making reliable generators and even though I bought a portable generator, working in the propane business, their are many where I live that are buying the permanent home stand by propane powered generators and they are reliable and even though my is portable but used for home standby too, its what I want. I know it will do the job and keep us comfortable and our keep our food fresh while the power is out. I have yet to get my electrical panel up to code and a transfer switch installed on my house, but when I do I will be able to enjoy the full luxuries of having power without power :) Noise level though its just like a lawn mower or any other gas powered engine, pretty noisy, but again, your inside and its outside and so i can handle the noise.

I bought this generator to keep our fridges going during a 4 day power outage but I was able to do more. It also produced enough power to also run with the fridges a few lights, or my water pump or my sump pump. It's also light enough that one person can handle it quite easily. It starts very easily so practically anybody could start it. Great generator for the price.

I am very satisfied with my purchase of my GP6500E generator. It was money well invested. The quality and performance of this Generac generator is great. The installation and startup directions were very easy to follow for someone like me that is not to keen on the mechanics of putting something together. The motor is not too noisy at all, we can barely hear that our generator is on at all when working. I will definitely recommend this product to all my family. I am getting ready to purchase a Generac Home Standby Generator in the next few months.

Everything with this product met my expectations and functions were easy to use. However the only thing I have to complain about was the products packaging was perfect but the product was damaged inside the box. The fuel line nipple was broken at the back of the control valve and was leaking fuel. The problem was the fuel line was cut too short and pulling on plastic nipple.

Excellent performance immediately after first start. Just what we need for sump pump power. Although assembly is not difficult, the manual for assembly could be improved: The parts could be better identified, and the pictures are too small to be of any help.

Bought this to replace an older one I gave to my son, ran like a champ for years. The new one was purchased because of the Deracho that went through our area Benton Co. Iowa, August 10, 2020. Finally found one 75 miles away in Cedar Falls. First oil change 41hrs, second change at 109 hrs. The unit ran continuous for 187 hrs. straight! One pull start every time. The unit ran our 28,00 sq. ft. home, AC, frig, freezer, lights etc. Excellent piece of equipment and reliable! Never been happier. Thanks, Lee

took about 6 weeks to deliver but it arrived this past Friday on a wooden pallet. the parts were nicely boxed separately and within an hour the wheels and handle were installed and oil filled. Pulled the choke and it started on the second try. i haven't connected to the house but my initial impression is if it runs as well as it's put together and shipped then i will be very happy with this purchase. Definitely pay the extra for drop gate shipping to your house but don't be intimidated by the weight; assembly is an easy one man job. I did buy 3rd party collapsible handles and a trickle charger but everything else is complete and fully accessible (oil dip stick, filter & drain line, air filter, battery, etc). even included extra spark plugs, air and oil filters leaving no excuse to not properly maintain.

I waited a long time to buy the right generator and the Generac 7500E was what I was looking for. I could go on and on about the 7500E. It has everythng anyone could want in a portable stand-by generator. I am very pleased and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality generator.

Now if it goes out I am able to keep my kiddos warm! I highly recommend this! I used it on my friends RV over the weekend and it works amazing! Love it.

If looks meant anything, this is a killer of a generator. I took back a B & Stratton, then bought this. Works great, easy to set up and works flawlessly with the your Manual Transfer switch. Generac is second to none when it comes to generators. Jeff M.
