My 1st one died on me within 200hrs. I had it repaired through the warranty. It lasted for 1400hrs and died completely. The second one died at 115hr...this time the stepping motor. Not a generator to rely on.

I recently purchased this generator for back up. It was easy to assemble. It started up on the third pull right out of the box. i have only needed it once, but it fired right up on the first pull, very happy with it.

While this generator is exceptionally powerful and reliable it is dangerous to use as it is too heavy to move. Moving it just once about destroyed my spine. IT NEEDS WHEELS AND YOU CAN'T GET THEM!!!

Just purchased my first Generac, very happy with the quality. Loose power in our area, most people in our area have the automatic standby units with great reliability. We're selling soon so we went with the large portable one.

product runs great does everything i want it to do 2 other friends bought same generator and both have had engine problems around 40-100 hrs fingers crossed mine holds up!

I have the Elec start model, the battery holds for many months with out a recharge. If you do need to use the rewind starter, it starts on the 1st or 2nd pull.

I purchased as a backup for power outages and has never failed. Fires up everytime and provides my family with the peace of mind that we always have protection from power outages.

I used this product for 4 days straight, ran all day long [15 hrs.] on about 8 gallons of gas. 2 refrid, 3 freezers, 2 lights, tv, and coffee pot. the best product for the money.
