12/22/13 michigan ice storm, my old gen quit after 2 hr, battle creek and most of michigan sold out of good gen ( plenty of off brands ) had to drive 1 hr to angola in to get this one, so far worth the driv, was up and running in 3o min

We bought this product because of a power outage that last about 3 days. The product was easy to use and set up. The quick start guide was really handy. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Fired it up after installing wheel kit and handle then put it right to use. Ran everything I needed with trouble. Turned on everything but the ac and was impressed next time will try ac as well

I was without power for one week after a hurricane rolled through. My Generac ran continuously for 7 days without any issues. I am very impressed with this generator. Best purchase I ever made.

After assembly, added oil, charged batter and put gas on the tank. Turned the gas valve on and it s leaking out the carburetor. Does this every time I try to start the engine.

bought the generator to use for loss of power. because my wife is on medical equipment. Liked the first pull starts the generator. Can't afford to be without power for the medical equipment

My current generac xp8000e is 12 years old - and has gotten me through many outages. I am retiring it to backup and replacing with the new model. Strange as it seems the $$ is about the same WOOT!! This model is much quieter than my old one :-)

I cannot get it started I filled oil and gas turned switch on full choke turned gas on pulled chord and it will not fire. Turned choke off pulled some more and still will not fire. I exchanged my first one for same reason. What am I doing wrong?

I love this generator. It starts in one pull and every time. I haven't had to put it to the test in an outage yet, but I know it will fire right up and work as it should.

Within 15 minutes of getting my new generac 8000 watt generator home I had it setup and running. Oil and battery included. Great quality and dependability.
