We ordered this after deciding to add a 20x20 concrete pad out back to get us away from the house and have an outdoor room. It went together easy enough. Its not an exact science and it does help to have an additional person for the wood construction and yet another person to get the roof sections installed. Its gorgeous and we love being outside. We have started adding more concrete for an outdoor kitchen right next to it.

So glad we purchased this gazebo. It was a challenge to assemble but everything was clear between the paper instructions and the Bilt app. Using both helped us confirm a few tricky assemblies with the roof panels. We did it with two people until the roof panels went up. Four is just right. Having several ladders was ideal. Best to watch the video and sort out the hardware and lumber by number before you plan to do the build. It turned out beautiful, smells wonderfully of cedar, and we began using it immediately. Two trim pieces had some plastic packing melted on them that we couldn’t remove. I emailed customer service and they were replaced immediately. Shipped within days. No regrets here. Highly recommend!

Bought this item to put up next to my camp. Seems very sturdy and looks fabulous. We get a lot of wind next to the water so we bought it for the wind rating. Directions were not so were good. The blue film on all the metal pieces was a nightmare to peel off. I think that’s what took us the longest peeling off the blue film. Overall after many hours of construction I am very happy with my purchase. The price was right and all the pieces were cut to size already.

All holes lined up with the use of Phillips screwdrivers for the roof sections then insertion of bolts were easier. The roof sections were raised and balanced on a 10 foot step ladder. The final position was done rope to raise the sections to the ridge line.

We got our 14x12 Barrington gazebo installed on our patio today…we watched as it was being built by two experienced Go-Configure installers….The attention to detail on this gazebo is impressive…The installers did a great job. We are thoroughly satisfied with our decision to buy this Backyard Discovery gazebo. We have string lights going up in it in a couple days!

Started a few months ago on building my a little oasis in my backyard. An extension of my house! Searched and researched so many Gazebos and finally decided on this brand. Could not be anymore happy with the look and quality. Took longer to put together so I would recommend using the installers. Well worth the money.

We are super pleased with the quality and appearance of this gazebo. Assembly was easy thanks to the excellent and clear instructions, and all the parts fit together perfectly. The gazebo is attractive and enjoyable, and we get frequent compliments on it from visitors.

We purchased the 12x14 gazebo as well as the XL BBQ Gazebo. Both are made of same materials. They looks modern with the black hardware and the wood is a very nice stain. The wood is a little soft so it does show some scuffs and sings from the packaging and shipping, but it is not too bad. Love the power bars that come with both of these. We installed heaters and a fan on the larger gazebo.

The gazebo came on time and the boxes were in perfect condition. We ultimately decided to use an outside installation company after realizing the roof was more complex and heavier to build than we first anticipated. We are thrilled with the completed project though we continue to look for ways to add mosquito netting.

Beautiful gazebo, sturdy, and will last forever! I love sitting under it in the rain with our gas firepit. My husband, son and I assembled it in 2 days. We are pros now and could assemble them much faster now that we know what we are doing. LOL Follow the directions to the tee as far as measurements when assembling the roof to make sure it is square. All the holes lined up, the pieces were marked. The one thing I would have liked is a touch up pen. Some of the wood was scratched and the really light color shows through under the roof- would be nice to cover those up. You need an impact drill for concrete slab and a tall ladder at minimum. We used a scaffold which was amazingly helpful for all aspects of assembly- instead of moving a ladder around all the time. The metal roof drains under the trim, though, which I thought was weird- to have it all go down metal, then under a metal piece that is placed over the wood edges. It seems like that might wear own the wood all around the roof.
