Batteries have to be emptied and recharged several times just to get them to last any length of time. Seems the NiMH batteries are very old? and do not work well. Additionally the distance from the base station these phones work is much shorter than previous models. I do not recommend this model.

Only had the set turned on for one day and two of the hand sets stopped working. They would charge and you would take them off the charger and then they would go completely dead. I am just going to return them back to the store immediately. Couldn't believe how terrible they are for the price! DO NOT BUY THESE! Many reviews are saying similar things about the phones not working.

I've had Panasonic multi-phone systems for at least 17+ years. This system is made with very thin plastic and is not even close to the quality of past models. After charging for 2 days before connecting to the phone line, the handsets would not maintain a connection to the base. The screens go blank intermittently, as if there is no charge on the battery. After placing each handset back into the base unit, 4 handsets show full battery and one never went beyond one bar. The handsets go blank shortly after being placed back in their individual charging stations, and one chirps constantly like it has just made connection with the charger. Once each unit is removed from the chargers, they remain blank and have no dial tone. None give a verbal low battery warning. Speaker volume is severely deficient compared to the 5 year old ones they were supposed to replace. Junk.

I've purchased other Panasonic phone products. This one does not connect from the base unit as my previous unit. In fact, I miss calls and have to walk towards the base unit for it to pick up the signal before using. Not to mention the number of calls I have missed due to this. I will be returning.

I gifted my parents a Panasonic cordless phone but my mother said that if she is in the next room, within 30-50 feet the signal grows faint. In consumer reports I read that it is usually about 1200 feet. Reading the reply from the Panasonic support team that the distance is 33 feet, I wonder perhaps the team meant the range of the Bluetooth connection from handset to cell phone? I contacted the support team at their website and they also say only 33 feet. This is impossible!

I bought this set when I moved into my new house a few years ago because I couldn't find my other set of phones which were also Panasonic. These may have a larger display and added features but I just removed them after two years. I found my old set and hooked them up. The clarity of sound on my old set is far superior to the new set. There was vibration and I couldn't understand the caller as well as the caller couldn't hear me very well. I was hoping it would clear up but it hasn't and I don't see any adjustment I can make to fix the problem. So, out with the new and in with the old. The new set is going into the Goodwill bin. I would NOT recommend this phone.

Ok, my 5th Panasonic phone system and these have all the latest features. Call one button blocking with code required to finish the call. Total block of all numbers listed in the standard exclude bank and what you added. Needed changes: Dial tone very loud and volume for speaker voice needs to be higher. A head set will fix most of these issues and any 2.5MM headset with a microphone will work nicely. BT only works on base phone. Unfortunately most base phones these days are at the cable modem which is never in a convenient location. If you are wiring a house when it is new/ bribe the electrician to make all com connections behind your media center and then run quality LAN and Telephone cable to each room from the media center wall. Then run one RG-6 cable and one heavy duty telephone wire to your outside access point.

Works great and works with our other phones as well.
